Set in the heart of the Grand Strand's Lowcountry plantation area, Indigo Creek is laid out through large oaks and flowing creeks, especially the back nine, though the views have been somewhat spoiled by housing. The course is built over an old rice and indigo plantation with some nice elevation changes, lakes, waste bunkers and undulating greens. It's a Willard Byrd design, with Bermuda greens and a slope rating of 128.

Indigo Creek is another of those Myrtle Beach-area courses that fell into a disreputable state only to be saved by a new ownership group. One golfer who'd had a bad experience there described it after the refurbishment as the best-conditioned course in Myrtle Beach.

Indigo Creek isn't overly long at 6,744 yards (the shortest of its four sets of tees shortens to 5,921. It is an exciting course with an significant number of doglegs, bunkers and water. The back nine is set among giant oaks and gently flowing creeks.

Cow Pasture

Absolutely terrible course for the money. Paid over $55.00 to play a course that wasn’t worth more than $25.00. Never going back.

Early spring conditions and the course was not in ideal conditions. It needs some upgrades and maintenance. Throughout

Get what you pay for

The course was in okay shape. Rough is still dormant so it was non existent not a factor. The greens were not very good. They were like concrete and littered with debris. You would think they'd invest in a blower to clean them off. You had to land 15 yards short of the green and let it run up to it otherwise your ball is going over the back. We were putting from off the green because a chip into the green meant it would roll off.

I would definitely play here again though. I'm hoping/thinking that in a month this course will be in much better shape when the rough gets green and starts growing again.

Need a course marshall

Pace of play was the worst. One group holding up 4 groups that eventually skipped a hole and went around.

Worst ever, they need a Marshall.

It's Good

Lots of hate on Google reviews but the course was in good shape. The course definitely needs some irrigation help as the fairways were like hitting off concrete but greens and tee boxes were amazing. Staff was excellent, club house, food and drinks pricing was super fair. On course bathrooms are mildly diabolical but it's the only option with all of the houses surrounding most holes. I recommend paying this course at least twice yearly but probably no more than that.

A Good Reunion

We had not played this course for any years but decided to try it again We remembered very little about the course and were pleasantly surprised by the course conditions, particularly the greens. They were the best we have played this winter! The course has lots of water hazards which are not intimidating but add to the aesthetics of the course. We will definitely return to Indigo Creek soon and we recommend it to anyone for an enjoyable golf experience.

Good price with golfnow

Have not played course since 2018 ,it's in better shape now than then. Greens are I decent shape. The fairways are thin of grass. He conditions are wet and is quite easy to hit the ball fat. Shot 76 on what can be a good layout. The discount with golfnow made it ok. Pace of play was slow had a fivesome ahead of us. And had a twosome jump in between us at the 10th hole

Nice course

This course has a lot of water but has a nice design and layout. The fairways and greens need work but it is probably the season and not the course’s fault.

The staff is remarkably friendly
