About
Angeles National Golf Club is the only Nicklaus Design course in Los Angeles County. It is tucked away in the Angeles National Forest. This championship course is known for being one of the area's most challenging with tough greens that are lightning fast and more than 50 strategically placed bunkers. There are also two lakes and a creek that come into play. Golfers should be prepared for long par 4s and demanding carries over ravines and barrancas. Not only is it a golf course that requires length, you'll also need accuracy. Angeles National Golf Club finishes with a par 4 that plays from an elevated tee alongside the rushing creek that edges the left of the fairway and to the right of the landing area there's a deep bunker. To the right, the green is bordered by deep grass hollows and bunkers and there is a lake to the left.

Pace of Play
This course should be 4 hours at most. There is no Marshall on the course and our round took 4:45. Way too much but all the result of the group ahead of us. We almost didn’t complete the round before sundown. With a pace of play that slow, hard to get into a good groove from constantly waiting.

Horrible conditions and horrible course
This course was great at one time, now it's nothing but horrible. The course conditions are bad, the fairway is dry, and hard to find a green spot. There is no marshal to control the course. I would stay away

I didn't get my refund
I have modified my reservation from 4 to 3
but I haven't redeived refund for a single cancellation yet.
I paid $640 for 3. it's about $213 per person.
but all other golfer paid $160

Fo $160 a round, this course was a joke! Pace of play was as bad as the conditions of the course

Course was in fair shape , fairways were dry and hard , greens were in fair shape . No cart girl though, I’d payed $114 and was disappointed in that aspect but overall it was a fun course .

No grass anywhere but on the greens
This course should close until they grow some semblance of grass. The greens are in great shape, but everywhere else was awful. And for what they charge...it’s a joke.

Birthday round blooper
This is one of my fave courses in LA, but this time around, I was a little disappointed w the overall condition of the fairways. Sure they’re kept dormant during the winter mos but it’s now in March, and they were not only brown but lacked the cushion, too hard. Maybe I was too hyped to play but the course could surely use some rain. I still think this is one of the best public access clubs, it’s grown very nicely since it first opened many years ago.
