CrossCreek Golf Club
About
Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

Hole #1 Photo submitted by joeskiluv31 on 12/30/2012
Above Temecula
The course wanders through the hills presenting great views and tests your skills. What I like? Favorite holes are 4 and 18, plenty of forced carries,
Great course
This will test your game especially if wind is blowing and it was. Greens are excellent. Bunkers good fairways a little sketchy in places
They need marshals to keep up pace of play
Would play again
Creeks that cross
Virtually every hole has a creek or ravine crossing some part of the fairway. For the women out there it is hard to clear some so bring lots of balls. This. Course is not for the faint of heart. There are a few holes that require pin point accuracy off the tee or you’re loosing another ball.
Will be back
Played Cross Creek yesterday and will definitely be back. It is off the beaten path but was worth the drive from Oceanside (30miles). Course was in very good condition. The greens were in excellent shape and very fast. Course knowledge of general slope, false fronts and contours are a big help in playing this gem. Not very long, but you need to be accurate off the tee, hit in the correct spots and play smart, especially on back nine. However, there are a few legitimate risk/reward shots. Pace of play was good at about 4 1/2 hours.
Rude Staff
The pro shop charged us $89 when we booked on Golf Now for $69.
When we contested he said that is the price and for us to get the difference from Golf Now.
When we showed him theconfirmation, he vehemently cursed Golf Now and reluctantly returned us the $20.
He used profanities to express his displeasure at Golf Now.
The round was fine.
After the rou d we stopped to eat. The server at the cou terminal was also rude and curt and said we had to come to her window to order. When all 4 of us ordered, none if the orders were available as.she said the sandwi he's which were..are 3 days ago were.all thrown out and they do not mKe new sandwiches to order.
Needless to say. We walked out and left
Brutal pace of play
Three and a half hours to get thru the first nine holes on a 11:00 tee time is not acceptable. We were shuffled to the tenth hole because a tournament was in play and we had to wait until 11:30 to tee off. When reserving the tee time there was no indication of a tournament causing delays. After starting 30 minutes late at the tenth tee it took 3 more hours to get thru the 18th hole and circle back to the first tee. When reaching the first tee we had to wait for several groups of new golfers who were now starting from the first tee. There was no pace control for the tournament groups in front of us from the start and they were really taking their time. The course has a challenging layout. The greens were in decent shape but the fairways were just fair. However when paying over $100 I expected better time control on the play.
Great Course!
This is a really fun course to play and it is overall in great shape. The driving range and putting area was filled with people from a golf school that was practicing there so couldn't practice putting. No beverage cart the whole round, on a Sunday. I like playing this course but I think I'll stick to mid-week here and make sure to bring my own drinks and snacks.
Excellent Course
Second time playing Cross Creek and it is a great course. Did have to wait for a cart which made us tee off 15 minutes late, but the delay actually improved the pace of our round because we never had anyone in front of us.
Putting greens
Super fast greens but I can’t blame anyone I should have putted on there greens by the range before going out I figured them out after the 2nd hole
Great course super technical great layout and love it how quite it is.
Cross Creek Sundays
Booked a last-minute teatime on GolfNow to cross Creek Sunday morning. Someone must’ve canceled because it was the only one available for a foursome at 10 o’clock in the morning. There was a frost delay earlier and they were sending people out on the back first the pace of play was decent. The first seven holes there wasn’t anyone behind us and we really didn’t have a huge problem with the foursome in front of us. After that the group behind us Was riding our butts because somewhere in front of us with some pretty slow play. But we still finished in 4 1/2 hours and totally enjoyed ourselves. The tea boxes were mostly flat. There were a few that could use some attention. The greens were hard, probably from all the frost bitten earlier today , but tgey rolled true and were generally in goid shape. The bunkers were pretty good, although I was not an any of them, fairways were decent. Overall decent experience I recommend the course.
in be tween rain
Course was in good condition although had rain night before
