Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

needs work

Net positive, the greens are in good condition. Fairways are not too bad but there are several where dirt makes up the land areas off tees. Biggest complaint is pace of play. We teed off at 11:40. and finished at 3:40.

Cons:

1. There are no marshalls and starter. You can basically tee off anytime after you get your cart key.

2. A lot of gopher holes

3. Tee boxes not even

4. Tee boxes mostly dirt

5. Pace of play slow

6. Annoying pro tips on several holes, eliminates risk-reward of design

greens are a bit bumpy on certain holes but overall pretty gd. fairways are chewed up no grass on areas of each hole hopefully they will overseed or punch do something to add life go cartpath only for a few weeks

Bad maintenance

Not the course I grew up playing. Pristine it was. Not anymore. Great design or layout. But maintenance is horrible. Very disappointed. Service is lousy.

Course was great and in very good shape. A second time playing and enjoy the layout very much. It was extremely slow, unbearably slow. It seemed like they were players out there. That didn’t understand etiquette. Bad players are fine as long as they’re fast. I think the marshals should’ve stopped in.
