About
Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

Scenic Golf
Very nice location with great scenic views. A little bit far from LA/OC, but worth playing.
Spectacular course.
Beautiful scenery, perfectly manicured greens, and great fairways. Some of the tee boxes could use some love but CrossCreek is certainly one of the best-priced courses in North-County. The pace of play is the only lacking quality of this course but all that really means is pack a few extra drinks.
Quirky course, need to play more than once
A lot of shots on this course are semi-blind, so it's difficult to know where the trouble is until you get used to it. A few holes have useless "pro tip" signs at the tee box like, "Aim for the middle of the fairway," well thanks a lot for that. Part of the fairways are very chewed up (poor drainage, I suspect), but conditions were mainly good. I'm not intrigued enough by the course to want to go back, but for someone who lives closer, it's probably worth getting to know. Everyone that I interacted with was friendly.

Bring extra balls, the back nine can be brutal. Course is in great condition.
Great Course
Really like this course, from the layout to the landscape. Challenging but very fun to play.
Fun course
The course was in good shape...fairways, greens, and tee boxes. The pace of play was great after the two foursomes in front of us quit after nine holes. Fun course. Will be back.
PACE OF PLAY
2 1/2 hours on the front, and 3 HOURS ON THE BACK 9. When we approached the 10th tee, there were 3 FOURSOMES THERE !!! Where did they come from? It looked like they squeezed a couple of foursomes in for 9 holes .
Slowest (by far) in my 60 years of golfing.
Not bad value, could improve.
The course is well maintained, the crew is fantastic. The only complaints I have is that the pace of play is god-awful. Now, this cannot be solely the course crews’ fault. Now if I say anything else, I am no pro when it comes to the sport. However, if you have people playing behind you please do not spend twenty minutes looking for your ball, it’s gone. Please be courteous to the players behind you. I will make one suggestion for course staff. If you understand that people take a significant amount of time to move from hole-to-hole, please make 9-hole tee times available so I can only be frustrated with the people in front of me for half the amount time I normally would.
Good test of golf!!!
I had not played Cross Creek for several years and had forgotten a lot of the holes. I played from the Tips and the course definitely lived up to its name as I had several challenging tee shots over creeks and wash areas. Really enjoyed my round and was a really good test of golf. Greens were in great shape and were rolling really true and fast! Fun day!!!
