Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

A little challenge needed?

Cross Creek always presents a little bit of challenges in your golf rounding. Blind holes, ups and downs, creek and etc. The course demand you to be a little more accurate play to reach green.

Great course just stay in the fairway

Aside from trying this course for the first time, I changed my swing thoughts and flow. The course is great. I’ll be back again soon to rematch myself.

Each hole had its own challenges and opportunities. I enjoyed every hole. Even the ones with lost balls into the brushes.

A must play course with an awesome staff

This is a beautiful and challenging layout in the rolling hills of De Luz canyon. If you’ve never played this course you should. Challenging but fair for all levels and beautiful scenery all around you. The staff is warm and welcoming as well. Always enjoy our time at this wonderful golf course.

Fun but Tough

Staff and conditions were great. This course plays very difficult though. Lots of holes requiring carry off the tee or your in trouble. My cousin and friends are new to golf and must of lost at least 15 balls each. They warn you of rattlesnake and poison oak frequently so beware of that as well. Also know that the course itself is quite off the beaten path and there is NO cell phone service. I would recommend this course for better golfers but would say stay away if you’re still learning. Lots of elevation changes and side hill lies that make it really tough. Great course and staff though!

Slow play

Extremely slow play with a wait of 15 minutes on most all tee boxes for a mid week tee time?

Typical theses days

The course layout and conditions were really good. It is also a great location that is really quiet and free from houses sitting on top of the course.

Now the down sides. There is a sign on the first hole that says the expected pace of play is 4 hours and 15 min. It took us a full hour longer to play and no one there seemed to mind. The marshal held us up after the fourth hole because there were four groups playing the next hole and it seemed to just be normal for them. Two holes later, the group in front of us tees off while we waited, while the group in front t of them were on the green. And it was a par five. The marshal just said hello to them as they left the tee.

I get golf is busy these days but don’t you want to have a full tee sheet? So figure out how to keep the place on time and stop blaming a busy day or a tournament that morning for you poor management.

If you can find a slower time to play here, do it. It is really nice. But I would avoid any semi busy times.

Great course great value

This is an awesome layout up in de luz just outside of Temecula. Beautiful views and a great layout. Challenging but fair, thus is a must play course in Southern California. Unlike dos Lagos which is the slowest play golf course in ALL of California the pace of play here is very good. Played in 4 hours but have many rounds here in less time than that. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this course to any mid to low handicapper. Higher handicap players might get a bit frustrated but still a great course for every one.
