The course was just as expected based on the reviews I found. It's not a long course but it definitely requires accurate shots or bring lots of golf balls!

I wish it was closer to me but we will definitely be back.

This course is great! However, if you struggle with in accurate shots be prepared for a long day.

Weather was great, the greens were perfect, fairways were in great condition. Love this layout.

Tee boxes need some love but other than that good times.

If you are looking for a challenging course, this is a great fit. Course conditions were in very great shape. Greens were well kept, yet tough to read. Fairways in excellent conditions all around, not a bad spot to hit from. Tee boxes where what you want to hit from with or without a tee. Overall pace of play was good, got done in 4:05 with a foursome. This course is secluded, no cell reception, great views with the wineries, and was very peaceful to play. Would definitely come back!

Wow describes this course in so many ways. Here's a few examples. Wow, this course is beautiful. Wow, this course is in nice shape. Wow, the greens are fast. Or last one... Wow, this is a tough place haha great times. This was our groups first time playing here and it had it's ups and downs. Pace of play was great for Saturday. Greens really fast and firm. Nice tee boxes. If your having trouble off the tee... I sure hope you brought 2 dozen balls. Very precise course layout. Very fun though going in and not having any expectations. I shot an 86. Not too good but not that bad. I'll be back to redeem myself! Cheers!

I got a joke in one there in 2006.My buddies sign the ball and the staff gave me the flag off the green signed by the pro and the yardage. Put it in shadow box and mounted well we had a house fire and everything burned up including my hole in one ball. So I quit golf for 15 years well last year I decided to take it up at again went to Crosscreek Golf course. I went to the pro told him what happen and they hooked me up another flag!! I couldn't believe they would do that for me! If was a blessing to me can't thank them enough thanks guys. Oh yeah the course is awesome!! Thank you always.

Its a shame because this is the best course i’ve played in socal. I love everything about it except the management. I pull up in my cart ready to tee off at 12:40 on the dot for my tee time. I had only booked a 2-some but the starter informs me im paired with another 2-some so i said okay no big deal as i know this happens often... 20 mins later and im STILL sitting there and the starter is telling my partner to continue warming up on the range. I continued to sit there and wait for two people that were late who the course told me to wait for. Already frustrated ive been sitting there for almost 30 mins after my tee time the starter sends me to my tees and says to wait for the twosome there. We get to the tees 30 MINUTES AFTER MY SCHEDULE TEE TIME, only to find a 4-some still teeing off! At this point im baffled because i sat with starter for 30 mins and no one went out before us, it made no sense to have a 4 some still there. Finally we get to tee off and the other 2some comes up and says we’ll play behind you because we are serious beginners. My partner and I being average 80s from whites say no problem and continue our hole ourselves. The starter then comes to the first hole and sees we are not paired up and yells at us to get back together and play together. I HAD HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH TWO BEGINNERS I DONT EVEN KNOW BECAUSE THIS COURSE HAD TO PAIR THEM WITH ME 30 MINS AFTER MY TEE TIME. Mind you they allowed a group of 10 to go out behind us so the big Deal of having two 2-somes out In front Idk!

Honestly takes a lot to even take time to do this but im specifically doing it because THE GRILL WAS CLOSED WHEN I PULLED UP AT 3:15 after my first 9 and they said sorry grill is closed so i was starving and thirsty. After the round i later asked the cart barn what time the grill closes wondering If i missed it by 15 mins due to the 40 minute lag from the starter, cart barn said grill closes at 3:30. So not sure if this was discrimination or not because no one wanted to help me and made my relaxing golf round the most stressful.

I WILL NOT BE BACK!

I'm not going to list the courses I've played since last june, but I've played everywhere besides Aviara, Maderas and La Costa. I would choose Cross Creek over every other course that I've played, no offense Santa Luz, The Grand Del Mar, Torrey Pines, Shadow Ridge, Temecula Creek Inn, etc. I'm from Arkansas and this course teleports me back south as I drive though the hills between the 15 and the course. The just an overall feeling if serenity here, it's a hidden gem that is a must play for anyone. My first round was about a month ago, I've been back 4 times since. Well worth the 1 hour and 10 minute drive from my place.

Canceled once! Day before! So tryed to reschedule! Terrible layout, not friendly at all! Bartender was friendly! Couldn’t wait to get out of there! Start er was friendly! Not enjoyable at all!

A true experience and a get away! Super fun layout that demands shot making. Not a fun course for beginners or if your wild off the tee, otherwise the best non private golf you can get in the area.
