difficult greens and very slow play and a marshal was needed to speed up play

The course is in better condition than I’ve seen it in the past. We had a slow group in front of us with slowed down play but had we been one tee time in front of them I think pace would have been fine. Luck of the draw sometimes. The course is playing extremely difficult. Missing you tee shot by a yard can result in a lost ball. Not giving a downhill putt the respect it deserves can send you flying off the green. I putted very poorly but I think that was mostly on me and not the conditions. Would recommend but be prepared to be fully tested in all aspects of your game. Every shot demands attention

Not a course for a high handicapper. Miss right and the ball is gone, and there is poison ivy and poison oak, so be careful. Overall, wonderful views, course, and staff.

Great course. Very hard if you can’t put the ball where you want it most times. I don’t recommend playing here if you shoot 90+ regularly. You will want to quit golf, forever. Greens are perfect. Fairways are very nice. So challenging, I can’t wait to go back. I think the pace of play is slow because course is so difficult for average players.

In great shape currently but be ready to play. Greens are firm and fast and tee boxes are looking great. Highly recommend playing this track

The course was in really great shape, fairways were green and wide open greens were fast the pace of play was slow did not play all 18 holes,but still had a great time.

Love the layout. Condition of the course was great. But oh my God was it slow. Teed off at 130 and couldn't finish. The course definitely needs to address it. Someone needs to explain to the older hokfers (65+) what ready hold is. 10 minutes on the the green is WAYYYYY to long.

Great open course. The greens were fast and the course was well taken care of. Sits in the middle of a valley and super fun place to let that driver go! Would place over and over again. The club house food was good and the service was awesome. Can’t wait to play here again.

Drove out from OC again to play a different course and choosing Cross Creek was a great decision. This is one of my all-time courses. The layout is challenging yet fair, greens were flawless and the pace was above average. The staff was super helpful and we were able to go out on the back nine because of the frost on the front 9.

First time playing here. WhatI liked: Friendly staff, free range balls,, carts with detailed gps info to hazards and greens, course was well maintained. Cons: Pace of play was a little slow., greens were super fast

Really fun course but you need some insider knowledge if it’s your first time. Greens can be a bit difficult to read but they roll really nice.
