Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

Cross Creek never disappoints.

Cross Creek in Temecula never disappoints. The course play really tough depending on the pin placement. You have to be able to hit many different types of shots. I can’t think of an easy hole on the course. The only negative was when we returned the cart. The cart barn kid could use a refresher course on customer service and kindness.

Very hot day

Love this course but the 100 plus degree heat wore us out! Got paired up with a couple of nice guys which helped. Pace was decent and course was in nice shape.

Very difficult course - no cell service

Back nine is very odd layout. If you play it all the time you can figure it out but for a fun 1st time round? Nope. No cell service so Golfshot maps did not display even though we got yardages

Would not play again

A MUST!

This course was immaculate. From the layout, to the service you receive from the moment you pull your car in, everything about the course was incredible. The course is very challenging, however, the carts are equipped with GPS systems that tell you distances from particular landmarks and not just the green. They also tell you how to play the hole the best so it’s like you have a caddie with you. Pace of play was perfect as we were never on top of anyone else, and were never slowing play. The staff was very friendly and loved to joke around. We pulled up and they met us at our cars with the cart clean, charged and ready to go. Even showing up 30’ before tee time. I will definitely be back!

Always an enjoyable round

Can’t get a more idyllic setting than this course among the vineyards and hills of rural SoCal. First timers will find this tough without a local for pointers. Otherwise a slope heavy but fair course for all skill levels. Great conditions right now!

Great Golf in Temecula

A few miles west into the hills, Cross Creek provides a challenging course. With a unique layout. Great views, peacefully quiet and in excellent shape. Bring extra balls for the ravines It was a great experience that only needs a return of food and beverage operations

Gets worse every time

golf courses always have an excuse when conditions are poor. In the winter some say "its winter conditions" when in fact is their winter conditions because the low watering and they dont overseed.

In just 2 weeks since the last time I played it went from fair to awful. Not a stance on the tee box that doesn't feel like something is burried under your feet. Dead grass. The fairways a half white and dying. Why? The signs and advertising along the 15 say that at "Cross Creek there are pristine conditions" FALSE!

Just close it and build houses. Maybe that is the plan.
