About
ChampionsGate Golf Resort, an un-matched golf facility for world-class golf, offers 36 holes designed by International golf champion Greg Norman and is the World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Located just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Champions has two excellent and very different golf courses on a single site.
Greg Norman blended tradition and modern elements to create a unique golf experience.
The International course, which is the highest rated course in Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International was designed, constructed and seeded to offer a hard, fast playing surface similar to those found on true links courses. The International, with 18 of the most dramatic and challenging holes in Florida, is destined to rank among the top resort courses in the country.

Oh Yeah
This course is amazing in all aspects. The starter started out round with jokes and a little background of the course and then we were on our way. Beautiful views, fairways and greens on every hole.

Great Conditions
Played the international course it was in fantastic shape. For the middle of August it looked like it was winter time. Greens were smooth and fast and course was very green. I would get out and play because you probably won’t find a course in better shape then this one.

Fantastic course and conditions
Played International GC and what a course....greens were fast and true, fairways were well groomed and the rough was challenging. You never know what you might get if there is wind, unfortunately not much when I played but plenty of heat. Well worth’s the money...if you’re going to spend good money, spend on a superior course. There are only a few in Central Fl that can compare to this one!

The course was in excellent condition. The International is challenging, but generally fair if you hit good shots.
I will likely play again when in the Orlando area.

Better Hit it Straight !
First time I have played International Course in about a year . Greens are perfect , fast and healthy, fairways are perfect , bunkers are very well maintained... The problem people will have with this course is that if you don’t hit it in the fairway you will NOT find your ball , the rough is extremely thick and very deep .. I’m a scratch golfer and I played from Blue Tees and had a difficult time breaking 75 ... I will definitely be back to play it .. The course is one of the best conditioned tracks around central ORLANDO .. Must play if you like golf and quality play

One of the Better Courses in Central Florida
Greens are rolling very true right now. In very good shape right now. Best bargain in Central Florida for the price. Currently, greens are rivaling the conditions of Streamsong. Very challenging from the tips. Not as challenging as The Concession Golf Club, but very close.

Pace was too slow
Two issues I have with the course
1. The pace was too slow and we didn’t see a ranger once. It took us almost 5 hours to complete our round. We started at 8am.
2. The second issue I have with the course is that the rough is too long! I am at 8 handicap and like challenging courses. International and national are very challenging and that’s ok. The problem is that through out the entire course you have the fairway, 1 yard of first cut and 6-8 inches rough. It’s imposible to find a ball if you missed the first cut. I get the long brush areas and that’s ok. But all rough over 6” long? It shouldn’t be like that.
Anyway. I love that layout and the conditions are great. But it sucks not being able to find the ball whenever you happen to miss the fairway a bit.
Just my two cents. Not sure if anyway will even read this or a knowledge the same.
