Eagle Creek Golf Club

We left after 11 holes because holes 9-11 had 3 or 4 groups on the tee box and it took nearly an hour to play the 10th hole. Otherwise course was decent with average to good conditions.

I booked a 2:12 tee time thinking it would be plenty to get us in before carts were due back at 6. Not sure what they did with their earlier bookings but after cruising through the first three holes, we hit an absolute roadblock and waited for 10 minutes at every hole. At the turn, I stepped inside to ask the desk if we could get a rain check because the pace was so bad and the carts were due back at 6 and I didn’t think we would finish in time and the guy said “yeah, we’re just full, there’s nothing I can do.” We only made it through 12 holes by the time we had to drive the carts back and what do we pass on 18? An EIGHTSOME! Unreal.

This is the second week in a row that I played this. Twice now we were unable to finish due to extremely slow play and darkness. Secondly, when making the turn the snack bar was closed. Granted you could get a beer in the pro shop but no hot dog, hamburger or snacks. Poor management considering they packed the afternoon schedule. Won’t be back anytime soon!

Course is in good shape, unable to complete a round waited 37 minutes for group ahead of us. We tried to keep pace of play clearly couldn’t experience the course as I have prior when pace of play was kept up with.

Our threesome teed off on time and play the front nine and just around three hours! Rangers were on the course and a loud for slow play. Course has tee times every nine minutes and this is manageable if the people who go off early are on pace. We ended up playing the front nine again in 50 minutes to finish our 18.

We have played this course a number of times in the past and this was probably the worst shape we have encountered. I don’t know if it was because of drought conditions, but the driving range was hard sand, some of the greens were in poor condition as were a couple of fairways. We certainly will be back and hope that it returns to its normal condition.

Much enjoyed playing Eagle Creek despite a bit of rain. Interesting layout and was in good shape overall.

Course is a descent track, however I have never seen a worse driving range even at the cheapest muni. Totally understand that things happen (previous frost). What I don't understand is charging extra for balls and not having a single blade of grass on range. Either put down mats or give out a few free range balls and say we are working to make it better.

Outside of very very Slow play and dry conditions it was a solid track. Greens were quick and true. Weather was great which made it bearable. I’m not a fast player but a nearly 6 hr round is ridiculous.

The course was in great shape and it was surprisingly forgiving with wide fairways on many holes. We’ll definitely be back here to play again the next time we’re in town!

I don't player much anymore so the courses forgiveness is welcomed! The par 3s are a little long but still very fair. The greens are well sized so if you miss them it's probably your own fault. I like the course in general and will come back.

We liked the consistency of the greens. Its to bad that the frost killed a lot of the grass on the fairways and rough. You can see just how nice it was before the frost hit. We will definitely come back.

The course is very friendly and you can enjoy the game at a relaxed pace.

The course is in very good condition, except for the tee boxes, but it doesn't really affect the game. I would definitely return.

Highly recommend this course when flying into MCO or before flying out.
