Course condition lacking.

Found some greens and tee boxes in poor condition. Many greens with ball marks. Mown grass left in clumps on near greens. Would expect better conditions for this course. Pace of play 4 3/4 hrs.

Challenging Mountain Course

Played the Mountain course for the first time this week. The course was in really good condition, very picturesque setting against the back drop of the San Jacinto mountains. Plenty of challenges navigating the desert, rocks and water that gets your attention throughout the round. This layout is fun, fair but demanding. I couldn’t quite find the lines on the tricky breaks that the greens offered up or appeared to be there but didn’t move the ball at all. The only draw back was the pace of play which really bogged down on the last 9, which has the most impressive holes of this course.

Spectacular views. Beautiful course

Played in 4 hours on busy Sunday. I read previews reviews that pace of play was slow but there are several rangers on the course keeping play moving. Greens were the best condition I have played in the area. It’s hard to play 15 16 and 17 without stopping to take photos. My favorite course to play and worth every bit of the $60 green fee.
