Spectacular views. Beautiful course

Played in 4 hours on busy Sunday. I read previews reviews that pace of play was slow but there are several rangers on the course keeping play moving. Greens were the best condition I have played in the area. It’s hard to play 15 16 and 17 without stopping to take photos. My favorite course to play and worth every bit of the $60 green fee.

Frost delay in the morning had us worried about our later tee time. But the course got us out right on time and we finished before dark.

Slow play from hole 2 on…

We waited on each tee box no less than 10 minutes every hole, we actually didn’t go on after nine it was just too aggravating

Call first before booking

The previous reviews often said slow greens and slow play. I agree with both. My biggest peeve is waiting and waiting. The course was packed with foursomes. The most frustrating part was the "carts on the path only" rule, which slows pace significantly. If you hit your drive into another fairway, your ball may be taken before you get there if the path is on the other side of your fairway. The cool looking holes are just 3 or 4, the remainder are anywhere USA style. Expensive also as you can see.

Normally wouldn’t pay the asking price at La Quinta mountain but picked up a wonderful Hot Deal that made it worthwhile .

Was still cart path only but I figured still worth it.

No info re: cart path only!

Neither Golfnow or clubhouse said anything about cart path only which would have made difference, especially at $250 player. Course good conditions but slow okay first 15 holes. Snowbirds and resort players uggh.

Great layout and conditions, useless ranger re pace of play

Our title says it all. We played the front nine in well less that 2 hrs and then ran into a crush of unmoving golfers and took nearly 3 hrs for the back nine. The issue, we found out, is that the course mgt is unable to find good rangers so they put the few good ones they had on the front nine and the single guy handling the back nine did nothing to get golfers moving
