Great Back Nine

I would love to play here again when it is not 108 degrees. The front nine has some nice holes but the course hits its stride on the back nine, especially holes 13-17, some of the best in the area.

Beautiful course. Pick the right tees and have a great round

One of the most beautiful courses I've ever played. Great condition. Lots of tee choices. I played the white/silver combo (HCP 19) and shot 87 so happy out. Would 100% play again and the deal I got on this site saved like 50% on the green fee!

Florida golfer first time in desert

We enjoyed the Mountain course.Golf staff in pro shop,cart boys & starter were all very accommodating.Course was a very nice layout ..we played from the tips at 6666 yards.The greens were very slow and bumpy due to the time of year..Would love to play this course in season...I’m sure the greens would roll nice.Great scenic views...be sure to take a lot of photos of the surrounding beautiful mountains and valley.

One of the most interesting courses in the Valley

If you like a challenge. If you like the unexpected. If you appreciate spectacular views. If you can deal with every manner of lie: downhill, sidehill. down hill/side hill, up hill . . . (well, you get the picture) you will have fun here. If the big stick is working you got a good chance. If not . . .

Fantastic layout and views

Really enjoyed this course . The value was exceptional . The only thing that was a less then desirable was the speed of the greens . Very slow and dry buts its a desert course the club staff informed me they can’t cut it to short with the heat or they run into issues with the green dying . But wow! What beautiful views and the carts are all gps equipped. Loved it . On a 5 star rating I’m giving it 4.2 stars .

Must play!

I played this course in mid September on a Saturday so my experience was unique. Got a super deal on GN so I went for it. Teed off solo around 2 PM and played 2 balls at a casual pace. Had a traffic jam of players ahead of me and people pushing up from behind, so it was a little hectic. It was also very hot and a little smoky, but still doable.

The course is incredible. The layout is well done and the views at the base of the Santa Rosa mountains make you feel like you’re on Mars. Because of the time of year, it was a little brown and the greens weren’t as perfect as I imagine they are in winter, but I really didn’t care. Carts are new and modern with a nice GPS system and the staff was very easy going despite how busy they were. La Quinta Resort is right next door and it’s really nice, too. Definitely check this place out but be prepared to practice patience. It’s a slow pace of play but worth it.
