Great day at Admiral Baker
The course was in great shape.
Greens were a bit slow but overall good condition .
Pace of play was good.
And the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Looking forward to our next round.
One of my favorite courses in the area
As usual, Admiral North was a bit challenging and fun to play. The weather was great, the conditions very OK and the pace of play ideal., never having to wait to tee off for more than 2 minutes.
Surprisingly good shape
Usually this time of year the course’s fairways and greens are a bit dry. They fairways were in great shape. I was very surprised. This course gets a ton of play. So the greens were a little beat up. Seemed like quite a few people were not fixing their divots. I kept finding my putt in line with someone’s green tantrum marks. Looked like someone kept blading their putter into the green. Sand was in great shape. Wish most courses in San Diego had Sand this nice. Will be back again. We saw a coyote on 8.
love baker north
we love playing baker north. good layout with elevation changes. greens were perfect, bunkers in good condition. there are some fairways where the irrigation is over used but for the price and location, this is a great course.

Course is in good condition. Some Fairways are patchy. Greens are rolling somewhat but are truly slow in my opinion for courses in Southern California. Play early or plan on a 5-6 hour round in the afternoon for the Twilight Rate!

Great value
The peace of play was just a little slow, but within reason. The course, minus a couple of areas where repair work was being done, was in good condition. Tons of wildlife and beautiful views.

The rough was garbage. The snack bar at turn was closed. Not much water on the course for drinking. Saw cart lady only once, but she was nice. Greens were pock marked and divots not repaired. Played there once before, and expected more. Very disappointed.
generally good conditions
some fairways had bare spots, which we treated as GUR. Greens, tee boxes and bunkers were excellent!
