About
Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, Indian Hills Golf Club incorporates a range of different elevation changes. The elevated tees provide great views of the surrounding hills while the tricky raised greens make up the bulk of the course's difficulty. Conveniently, the spacious layout doesn't have any parallel fairways. The undulating terrain guarantees that you'll come across a few uneven lies and there are also a few tough blind shots in store. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as do strategically placed bunkers but the focus remains on the dramatic drops and rises of the terrain. There is an especially daunting drop on the 16th hole. The challenging layout and scenic views have built Indian Hills' reputation as one of southern California's best public golf courses.

Pace of play
Amazing course but players hopping out of rotation at the turn messes up the pace on the back 9

Great course (For the money)
I've played Indian Hills about 5 times now, so I have a good grasp on the vibe of the course overall! Don't play here if you're worried about pace of play, because it definitely backs up on the weekend. Try to get out before 10am and it's a lot better. The course is in good condition overall for a public course. LOTS of trees. People don't repair pitch marks on the green, so they're fairly bumpy but they roll decently still. My main hit on them is the service in the restaurant/snack bar. Good course for $60, i wouldn't pay much more!
Fairways are decent, some dead patches.

Needs immediate attention
I was playing at this course about three times a week since June. Love the layout and scenery of this course. The recently pace of play is what stopped me from continuing to play here. Sundays tee time was 12:00pm and couldn’t finish all 18 holes due to entire course being backed up. No Marshall or anyone trying to get people moving. Every hole was about a 15 to 20 min wait time. A bunch of un happy golfers talking about never coming back.

Course is in great shape! Management is doing it right. Complements to the course maintenence crew. They all need a raise.
Marshals needed
5 somes allowed that have zero golf etiquette. This happens a lot during the week, cannot imagine the weekend. Very disappointing
