Not well maintained
Fairways have dry/ dead grass spots. Greens have clumps of grass growing , uneven grass on greens. Hole #4 is closed … wait a few months to play this course .

Fun course
The weather was nice. Greens were not. A couple of holes were under construction.
The pace of play was not great for a Thursday afternoon. That's not the course's fault, but the golfers ahead of us and those ahead of them. Overall a fun place to play.

Another great day at Spring Valley
This is the second time I have golfed this course. I am an intermediate golfer and really like the open fairways. Haven’t lost a ball yet. Still trying to figure out the greens but will get there.
Clubhouse staff great, starter great . Had an ice cold beer and a dog after the round. Another great round with a couple of friends.
I will definitely be a regular golfer here!

Fun quick course nice condition
Had a fun and fast round. Conditions were good and really no complaints about the course or setup.
We did think the guy in the clubhouse was a bit grouchy but then again it was freaking before 6 in the morning so he probably just didn’t have his cup of coffee yet…haha

Very slow. Could not finish
Tee times at this course are too close - perhaps to
Maximize revenue. But that grinds pace of play to halt. Took 25 mins per hole because of waiting. We paid for 18 but could not finish. I suggest the course management think about balancing sales vs satisfaction for customers who play. I will not play here again because of the slow play

Course Layout
We are sorry to hear you were disappointed in the course conditions at Spring Valley. Because we pride ourselves on providing a quality experience for our customers, we would like to address your two concerns. While the fourth hole is currently closed and scheduled to be back in play in early July, all players are still getting to complete an 18-hole round. We are happy to have the luxury of 19 holes at Spring Valley, so during course improvement we can offer 18 full holes and still complete a major green reconstruction. With regard to dry spots in the fairways, the drought is a serious concern for the state of California and we are taking the lead in conservation and doing our part for the community by agreeing to a reduction in water use. This is a very important part of stewardship of our natural resources. The golf course is in fantastic shape and as responsible operators we will continue to work toward the best balance of playability and conservation. This will be the standard at all responsible golf facilities for the foreseeable future.
