One of my favorite courses in the Bay Area
I truly enjoy playing here and I always found pleasant people to play with.

Very slow. Could not finish
Tee times at this course are too close - perhaps to
Maximize revenue. But that grinds pace of play to halt. Took 25 mins per hole because of waiting. We paid for 18 but could not finish. I suggest the course management think about balancing sales vs satisfaction for customers who play. I will not play here again because of the slow play

The start is from the 10th hole, but when I moved to the next hole in the middle, there was no sign, so I wandered several times.
Great Day at Spring Valley
First time here for me. Golfed with a friend. I’m an intermediate golfer at best, and found that it wasn’t too long for me. I cleared all the water with ease. I liked the wide open fairways.
I actually made two pars. One was on Hole 2b, which really surprised me. It looked pretty tough from up on top.
It was a great day for me to just practice and see what I could do, and it turned out great. The fairways were a little fast for me but I will get better with time. Had some really good shots and some not do good shots,
The golf shop personnel were great. All around great day!
Decent course
Greens were a little lumpy on a few holes, and the fairways were very hard. Overall, a fun course.
Average at best, very basic.
This course is very basic, pretty simple short course, would be good for a beginner to learn on but zero challenge for the average/good golfer. Greens were pretty slow, range was under construction so could only warm up on the putting Green. We were paired up with another 2 ball ( 4 ball total) and took us 4hrs 35mins which is a crazy time for such a short course and no Marshall at all. The people behind us were playing all in jeans, never seen that before at a golf course.
Very average at best.
Couse condition was good bit on each course we had to wait at least 20 minutes
I wouldn’t play on weekends anymore.
Inconsistent greens and lack of golf etiquette
Some greens are punched and some are not. All roll different speeds and with different length cuts. Beware of golfers that take you ball too. Golfer from other fairway took my ball and put in his bag. Asked for it and eventually gave it back. Even wrote his initial on my ball. Seriously, who is that hard up for a golf ball.

Spring aerification is a normal maintenance practice at golf courses. We can assure you that greens return to normal 2-3 weeks after the aerification takes place. We hope you will consider coming back and giving the course another try.
