Spring Valley Golf Course

Spring Valley is a nice and well laid out course for any golfer. Not terribly challenging but has some tester holes to keep you honest. The greens are in good shape and overall well maintained. Not for the expert golfer but is great for an afternoon of golf.

This is one of the bay areas gems. It’s a great location, far enough away from the city to be quiet and close enough to be accessible. The lay out will keep you interested and the greens will make you pay attention.

Great course and greens and fairways are in good condition for the time of year.

It was a nice day at Spring Valley. My husband and I enjoy this course and play it frequently. Given it's mid-December, the window of time for players is small, and today was gorgeous, weather-wise, so it was a super full day on the course. An early frost delay likewise delayed our start time by about 20 minutes. All in all it was a great day; it was nice to see the course actively marshalled!

On the final few holes, another foursome were golfing alongside us, and one of their carts had a speaker that was piping out some VERY loud music. We finished the final few holes with the music blaring. I know COVID is requiring us all to be flexible and understanding, but who wants a thumping concert while putting? Our foursome was bothered by the music, as was the foursome ahead of us. I suspect if it were earlier in the day the Marshall would have put a stop to it.

I used driver and wedges for most of the holes at this course. Beautiful setting though and fun to play, with challenging greens.

I forgot my keys in the car, locked myself out, and found that out only after I finished playing. AAA could not commit to arriving within two hours, so RJ let me stay in her car at the gate until my son arrived. Thanks to RJ I was able to arrive home without catching pneumonia.

Staffed with very nice people, and a great place with a scenic background to play .

Unfriendly & extremely aggressive staffs, poor course maintenance, and even dangerous course layout.

Course is in good condition and they stress moving along so we finished in about 4.5 hours. Interesting holes and with the wind very challenging. Some really tough pins.

Should be about 25% less expensive, but it's still a good muni course. Very walkable and not too difficult. Greens and tee boxes are really nice, they did a great job reviving this place about 5 years ago.
