Formerly known as Landmark Golf Club, the Golf Club at Terra Lago was the host of the PGA Tour Skins Game from 1999 to 2002. The club's impressive guest list includes Greg Norman, Phil Mickelson, and Tiger Woods. There are two 18-hole courses available called the North and the South. At 7,044 yards, Terra Lago's South Course is just barely shorter than the 7,060-yard North Course but they are equally challenging. The South is known for having one of the club's most unique and memorable holes, the par-4 second. This narrow hole runs alongside a wide canal that makes anything hit to the right impossible to play. The unique part of the hole comes as you approach the green. To cross the creek, rather than having a traditional wood bridge, the course designer crafted a bridge from an old rail car, which explains its nickname as the "Boxcar" hole.

Disappointing for sure.

Pin flags are all the same color. There is no way to tell where they are on the greens. No pin sheet, no markers anywhere. We asked one of the staff and were told ya thats right. There is no way to tell. He said just aim for the center of the green. Seems like they don t want put any money into the courses. Both north and south are the same . The bunkers look like the the surronding area, gravel pits. Signage for where the next hole is poor. Plan on driving around for awhile. Probably why most reviews say its always backed up 2 or 3 groups. Its a bit of drive from town. Not worth the gas money.

Nice play for first time

Mostly enjoyable play. Not super easy not super hard. Santa Anna winds required lots of clubbing up so be ready. Likely won't play again on this trip but next trip likely.

Not worth it

I’ve played the north a few times great course! Good value for the price nice layout… now the south course is terrible $90.00 was certainly not worth it even in March here in the valley poor conditions boxes are not kept up the fairways are dried and the bunkers is hard dirt not close to being sand! We never saw the cart girl even though we saw her on the north course a few times but even she didn’t care to come over!! It appears the focus is the north course the south us been forgotten and still charge a high price. Won’t golf on that course again.

Neal

Chaos getting a cart and clubs to the cart due to tourney returns. Good pace on front 9. Poor on back 9 due to groups getting in front that had never been seen before.

Bizarre and unkempt

Slow and slow

No Marshall’s

Unique course

This course is a very unique. The course was very, very dry and hard. Like playing around a gravel pit. Your ball would roll a mile. The sand traps seemed more like gravel traps. I enjoyed the pace of play and the course layout, but the second cut was dry and hard. The aprons around the green were extremely hard and dry. Different is a good way to describe the course.

It was extremely windy when we played. The course is challenging and I am sure if you play it more and have course knowledge it would be fine.
