Formerly known as Landmark Golf Club, the Golf Club at Terra Lago was the host of the PGA Tour Skins Game from 1999 to 2002. The club's impressive guest list includes Greg Norman, Phil Mickelson, and Tiger Woods. There are two 18-hole courses available called the North and the South. At 7,044 yards, Terra Lago's South Course is just barely shorter than the 7,060-yard North Course but they are equally challenging. The South is known for having one of the club's most unique and memorable holes, the par-4 second. This narrow hole runs alongside a wide canal that makes anything hit to the right impossible to play. The unique part of the hole comes as you approach the green. To cross the creek, rather than having a traditional wood bridge, the course designer crafted a bridge from an old rail car, which explains its nickname as the "Boxcar" hole.

Chaos getting a cart and clubs to the cart due to tourney returns. Good pace on front 9. Poor on back 9 due to groups getting in front that had never been seen before.

Unique course

This course is a very unique. The course was very, very dry and hard. Like playing around a gravel pit. Your ball would roll a mile. The sand traps seemed more like gravel traps. I enjoyed the pace of play and the course layout, but the second cut was dry and hard. The aprons around the green were extremely hard and dry. Different is a good way to describe the course.

It was extremely windy when we played. The course is challenging and I am sure if you play it more and have course knowledge it would be fine.

Poor Experience

I have played here multiple times before and the place has gone severely downhill. No on course service, staff weren’t very friendly, and course was in really poor shape. Won’t be back.

Course conditions.

There is sand everywhere except in the bunkers. Very slow play. Waited on almost every shot. Makes it a long round. Not sure if they are trying to put out too many golfers.

Bad golf course

This course offers nothing for a physically handicapped person. Staff couldn’t turn off cart beeping when not on the cart path. Tried 4 times. Course is in lousy condition, sand traps are gravel, weeds or grass not trimmed and fairways need a lot of work. My personal opinion is that this course should not be on GOLFNOW listings.

Bad golf course

Not friendly for physically handicapped people- horrible! Course in lousy condition. Sand traps gravel, not sand! Staff couldn’t turn off the warning sounds on the cart. Had to call clubhouse 4 times and it still didn’t shut off. Golf Now should take it off their list!
