Golf Club At Terra Lago - South Course

The course was in great condition. It was just reseeded and the fairways were nice and green. The greens were still sandy due to reseeding. Great course for the money paid.

Restaurant/Bar was OK. Reasonable prices and beer was cold and refreshing.

We were very excited to play this course again as we have good memories about it. We haven’t been back for two years because of covid. Unfortunately it was in extremely poor shape. My husband and I thought they were shutting down because of new owners. We still don’t know. There was hardly any usable grass on the fairways and the pin placements did not make sense. We didn’t know from hole to hole where the pin placement would be. Truly frustrating.It was not worth half of what we paid to play there. Very sad.

Definitely worth the visit and the use of recycled rail cars as canal bridges is most interesting and wonder if there are rain/lightning displays and whether these could be used as shelters as well.

Only thing disappointing was the lack of bar carts for water, snacks or refreshments. As well as the shortage of signage to get back to the club house. We did get back to the clubhouse while cart was warning us all along the way to get back to path but what path!?!

South course very unfriendly to the average person.

We have played Terra Lago in May and even in June. The golf course this last time in April was in horrible condition

Arrived 45 minutes before tee time. Check in was slow. There were a few guys waiting ahead of me. By the time I was checked in, I was told there wasn't enough time for me to hit a few balls, as is "ten minutes to the range and ten minutes back." The practice area near the first tee is fine. The starter was very friendly and informative. He paired me with a few Canadians who were great people to play with. We were of similar skill levels and completed our round in four hours and ten minutes. I would recommend this course (South) for an enjoyable golfing experience and will likely play it again on my next visit to the area.

This is a very nice golf course. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The greens were not in the greatest shape but this is a dry time of year with a lot of wind. If it’s a windy day there will be a lot of dust because there’s lots of construction in the area. It’s challenging enough for any player because of the T selections. I would play this course again without hesitation.
