Golf Club At Terra Lago - South Course

Course was heavily trapped and traps were cement. Greens would not hold.

Challenging and interesting

little warm but pretty nice day overall. They are finally getting the drainage issues under control. Now a little more water on the fairways and it's perfect, just don't overdue the water.

First time playing the South course. Extremely disappointed. It was like they are not spending ANY money on this course. Bunkers are horrible, fairways not green, no bev cart and still they charged $99. At best it should be $59. Very disappointed and will not go back. Do not make a tee time for this course.

Tees and the greens are great but the fairways are dry. Otherwise a nice course for the price..

We used to play here at least once every March when we come out to play golf for a week. Always challenging, but pretty good condition. We came for the first time since 2019 and it was horrendous. There were no fairways just dirt and crab grass. No sand in the bunkers, the list goes on. The greens keeper should be embarrassed. Waste of time and money. They let the course go and don’t care...makes sense why no one was there.

Apparently Terra Lago is intentionally letting the South course deteriorate. It appears they are investing more in the North course with water and keeping the green spaces looking good. The greens on the south course are not too bad the tee boxes were filled in. However the general condition of the course is getting worse from year to year. They are insistent and paranoid about anyone not bringing food or drinks on the course. During the four hour 18 hole round we saw the refreshment cart one time. And there are no drinks or food facilities at the restaurant or anywhere else on the grounds at this time. The rate through golf pass is not too bad, but for the money I think the North course is the best offering.

No cash payment. No beverage cart. Fairways and greens in terrible condition. Not worth $53.00 per golfer

Perfect day for golf. Course was in good shape. My problem was the Greens. Could not adjust to the speed of most of the greens. We played the South course.

Great place to play a round for good value in the desert. We had a bunch of wind this time that messed things up but aside from that, it’s a unique course with a good layout. They have let the fairways and bunkers go overall, kind of a shame. I’d recommend it for a good practice round but not even close to a top level course in the area.

I have played this course many times but I have never seen the course in such bad shape. Virtually little or no grass on the fairways, greens were bad and bunkers were hard and mostly in cared for Not a good experience!!!

This course is in terrible shape. Played with a couple of local guys who kept apologizing for the bad shape. I guess it was a good place to play a few years agp.
