Starter didn’t explain that 1st hole had a temp green on the fairway and that the 8th hole was closed. Would have been nice to be told up front. All of us playing felt that was kind of important .

Worst conditions I've ever played this course

I almost feel like I should get a "rain check" to play the course again because the course was so bad. Temporary green on # 1, hole #8 was closed completely (so one can only play 17 holes), and there was a temporary tee box on #9. The greens were terrible, they had been punched not too long ago and were still sandy and incredibly bumpy.

This course really makes you think!

1st of all the course is in great shape.

The design of this course was very interesting. This is hill country offering steep uphills where you struggle to the green and down hills where you can let “the big dog eat”. Awkwardly placed trees and interesting blind L shaped holes complete the challenge.

You never know what’s around the next corner. Definitely a course where prior knowledge of the lay-out is a big advantage so yes, I just have to come back and try this again!

OVERPRICED GREEN FEES

The layout is OK for a city owned course but at $80 per person I would expect the fairways to be in much better condition, The greens are in pretty good condition so they don’t seem to match the rest of he course conditions. This would be a good value at $40 but at $80 it is way OVERPRICED. Also the pro shop had little to no inventory of golf balls, accessories, clothing, etc. if I didn’t know better I would assume they are getting ready to shut it down.
