Anaheim Hills Public Country Club

Better than average golfer might find this easy but for the rest of us 10 handicap or higher it’s quite the practice round. Great views and Course is well taken care of.

Anaheim Hills is really a hidden gem inside of Orange County. This course is literally tucked in the furthest corner of Anaheim, yet it offers plenty of possibilities for those who enjoy the game. The overall facilities are clean and are in excellent condition. The pro shop and snack patio are top of the line. The practice range, putting green and chipping area offer ample space and opportunity for golfers to practice. The course played well. Tee boxes were in shape as well as the greens. The only downside was the over saturated tee boxes on couple of holes, and the overstated false fronts on a few of the greens. There are several challenging holes but if you manage the course then you should be fine. Otherwise the pace of play and the staff there are great. Definitely one of the best value courses around.

Course is fun and open. Was able to use my driver early and often.

I've been playing here for years. I like this tricky layout. The course is in pretty good shape right now. It's a bit pricey st weekend rates. The weekday rates are better in line with what you get.

Had a great time playing this challenging but fair track. The rough and fairways seem to be kikuyu grass, which is an awesome choice of turf grass for this hilly terrain and elevation changes. It helps stop the ball and keep the ball from rolling all over the course. Bunkers appear to be sod, so you'll need a low bounce SW to play a splash shot. Pace of play for a weekday was perfect. I'm sure the weekends, things can get backed up. Staff was friendly. Easy check in and stress free tee off. Only concern is the cleanliness of the golf cart, in this time of COVID. I usually walk, but with the hilly terrain and extreme elevation changes, walking is not an option for me. The greens appear to be poa annua and were rolling just fine for midday. The course was fun because of low wind conditions. I got to use all my clubs. Lots of hybrids off the white tees, but still used Driver 9 times. I will definitely be back.

the course was great but the pace was two slow and it seems to be the group two in front of us and we never saw a Marshal to speed up the pace the group in front of us went around them on 15 so they could finish we watched them spend over 20 minutes on that whole which caused this to be are last whole

Funky layout on some. Lots of elevation changes and cart gps which is nice. Unfortunately drove into group in front as their gps location stopped showing on my cart. Great greens. Fast and honest. Good fairway and rough conditions. Plays a little tight so don’t spray your tee shots. Nice views and awesome pace. Will come back again.

The course is well taken care of. Challenging with some tight fairways, elevated tees and elevated greens. Staff was great and special kudos to Wanda who took care of us on the course with beverages. Saw her many times asking if we needed anything and kept us hydrated in the heat. Most courses, I’ll see the beverage care maybe once or twice, if lucky. Wanda constantly cruises the course and even in the hot weather, she smiled, joked and took care of us quickly.

The staff is excellent and courteous! Wanda who catered to us with the beverage cart made a her presence continuously throughout and it was perfect since the weather was so hot!

The course itself is in excellent condition! And has holes that are both easy and some very challenging. We will definitely be back!

Great course to learn but beware of snakes coyotes and be prepared to lose balls. Hazards all dried up, no water on course

The first hole will tell you everything you need to know about this ridiculous course design. Par 5 with a massive tree in the middle of the fairway. Other holes include 90 degree dog legs and holes with over 100ft of elevation change. I want to play golf, not play a massive miniature golf course. I'm actually surprised that one of the holes didn't have a giant clown head that you had to draw or fade around to the green from 100 out.
