Tough for first time
This is a nice course with a challenging layout but if you are playing it for the first tine it is tough, probably half of the tee shots are blind. Don’t even think about walking it.
Enjoyable to play
I look forward to going back and playing this course again, it has its challenge Ann's is fun to play.
Good Except for Very Slow Play
The course was in nice shape, especially the greens.
However, from the very start play was very slow with 2 groups waiting through the first 6 or 7 holes.
Tee time was 12:40, teed off about 12:50 and only got in 14 holes before dark.
Have played here before and play was never this slow.
Enjoyable round
My foursome arrived at the course 30 minutes prior to our tee time. The starter was kind enough to let us out early. The course was maintained pretty well and the greens were in really good shape. We will be looking forward to returning back to this course soon.
Excellent for tournaments
Challenging and serene, Anaheim Hills proves that quality golf can be affordable. Excellent turf conditions and setting in the hills. This is an excellent golf course, friendly staff and a beautiful club house. Greens here can be really tough!
OK Course
After reading the description of the course I was looking forward to playing here. Unfortunately I was a little let down as the course did not live up to the description. I would rate the course as average+. Pace of play was slow for mid week with a 5 hour round. Waited on almost every hole making for a long day. Our tee off was delayed by 30 minutes as they were backed up when we arrived. Staff were friendly.
Amazingly Fun course
This course has its own unique fun and challenge. I very much loved its layout, adventurous course design definitely demand a creative shot plan. Each cart has a new latest navigation system (recently installed). The course has lots of trees and it made me feel like i am far away from home vacationing. Overall scenery resembles European feels. All in all, it is totally worth visiting and i will be back.
Very sloooooow play! Serious golfers should AVOID!
Arrived at 8:40am, 40 mins before my tee time, to find out that they were already 20 mins behind! The guy at the pro shop didn't inform me of this when we checked in, we didn't find out until we approached the starter to see when we would be teeing off. Since the first tee was behind, you would think they would actively manage the course - nope! It was a 6 hr round! I didn't plan to spend my ENTIRE day there! Only saw the Marshall twice, the first time I gave him an ear full, he then avoided us until I saw him on the 18th hole, he was coming out of the bushes, nowhere near any golfers, I think he was hiding in there! Not recommended for anyone that cares about pace of play, this place will drive you nuts!
Great Course for weekday
First time at Anaheim Hills, no complaints! Staff was very friendly with warm greetings. Pace was smooth till middle of back 9, overall was a great round. Course design for the pricing is excellent, good elevations create great views, and challenging as well. I highly recommend if you decide to play at weekdays to avoid traffic, can't say anything about weekends because I have not play here during weekends...yet. Will definitely come back. Great course.
Top notch
This course has a great layout and requires course management. First time and not the last.
This is a great course
Haven’t played here in a while as I moved. Went back on Monday and we played 18 holes in under 4 hours. Condition was good, a little TLC needed here and there, really good greens and a great test of golf. Don’t use your driver on every tee - consider a hybrid or even a 5 iron.
We will be back for sure!
Anaheim Hills
Have always liked this course because so many different holes. And you don't just get out a driver on every hole.
Challenging and Rewarding
This golf course requires your A game, as it is both challenging and rewarding to play. The course is maintained very well and has lots of elevation that makes it very scenic. The staff is very helping, the carts are well charged for all the ups and downs. They have an excellent GPS service that you access from your smart phone and they don't pile tee times on top of each other. Solid course and could be the best all around value in all of Orange County.
Anaheim Hills GC
I shot a 79 for the first time breaking 80. The blind shots are tough, you have to play this course a few times in order to get used to them. Pace of play was fine, never felt pressed nor did we ever feel the need to. Greens were true and although the course isn't very long the fairways on some holes are pretty narrow. You hear Fire quite often. Fun course though and always a good time.
