About
Los Serranos Country Club boasts two championship golf courses, the North and South. The courses sprawl across 300 acres that are a part of the Don Lugo Spanish Land Grant. Both courses offer a different round from one another, allowing players of all skill levels to find something to their liking at Los Serranos. Los Serranos' North golf course is the shorter of the two measuring in at just under 6,700 yards but every course in southern California can make that claim since the South Course boasts the Jack's Black tees, which make it the area's longest course. The North Course was designed with all skill levels in mind. It is more player-friendly than the South but there are still challenges in store thanks to strategically placed Scottish-style bunkers and tight fairways bordered by rough.

Fun course
Great track. Above average conditions. Greens a bit bumpy still but recovering nicely.
Tough
Pretty tough track for your average player... small greens and some tough driving holes... a little inconsistent bunkers this time.. but other then that, the course is in good shape... got pretty stacked up on the back 9, but still got the round done in about 4 1/2 hours.
Course
Fairways and bunkers were pretty good, greens were recently punched and sanded. I knew this beforehand. Had a great day at a great course
Pace of play was great with some interesting holes. Putts roll down toward the valley regardless of the green slope.
Course has been around a long time
Layout is very nice
Conditions have deteriorated, greens are very bumpy
But pace of play is terrible, starting at 2nd tee, with 6 groups @ #2 tee, #2 green, # 3 tee, #3 fairway & #3 green
This continues the entire day, it takes 5:50 to finish
Not fair! Spoils experience for everyone

My tee time was 12:15 pm and was unable to tee off until 12:50 pm. There was no mention of 3 school tournaments going on that day. I would have appreciated a notice at the check in and that would have allowed me to determine if I was still interested in playing. My group was only able to finish 15 holes in over 5 1/2 hours. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens could use some serious greenskeeper attention. Lesson learned ask before you spend your hard earned money.

Play was very slow maybe due to the holiday week. Greens were very fast and true.
