About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Fun round
One request, open the kitchen earlier. Wanted to get breakfast but they didn't open until 8am so had to settle for coffee and a Clif bar.
Good course
Great conditions. Fantastic greens.
Pace was bad this time. Barely got 18 in with 4pm tt. >4 hr round on a Tuesday. Possible group jumped us.
PS; cardmate’s cart died on back 9. Proshop phones close at 6pm. Pushed home with my cart. Im unsure if theres a back line, but there should be for situations like this.

Unprofessional Employee
The course Player Assistant was barefooted for no apparent reason. Didn’t look very professional.
Closed Early
The course is fun and it’s close to our house and well maintained. However, they made us bring the cart back by 7:45 PM when we had a 4:20 tee time with plenty of daylight left in the summer, didn’t accept Youth On Course and close their bar very early. Really pretty disappointed overall. Very slow play in front of us.
Fun and Challenging
To me, this course has plenty of character to keep you interested. There are some blind shots, considerable elevation changes, and contour on the greens to make it a challenging day.
Good condition
Course is in good shape which is surprising considering the current heat wave.
A challenge for every skill level
Course will require every shot in the bag. Excellent greens, undulating with tiers. The shorter holes require skillful strategy.
Can't wait to go back.
Highly disappointed in staff
We arrived about an hour before our teetime, I got a bucket of balls and asked for my cart, they refused to give me a cart saying they’re afraid I would go out before their tournament play was finished. I told him I was in my 60s and my partner was in his 70s. We did not want to walk down to the driving range.. I offered to let him hold my drivers license. They still said no! When we Finally got on the course, they had the GPS on the carts locked so we could not go off the cart paths. I called the pro shop a couple times to no avail. After nine I went in to pro shop and asked them to unlock GPS because I had a handicap player 72 years old, triple bypass,2 new knees. At first, he said yes, and then he said he was unable to do it
The gentleman that joined us was in his late 50s he said if they would not unlock the GPS he would leave after nine holes,he left. Highly disappointed in the personnel

Staff brought us down to pro shop. No carts are allowed in lot.. Upon finishing round, no staff were available to take us to cars. 2 of our group are handicapped and they said sorry the batteries are dead . You have to walk. Awful. I will not be back
