About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Cancelled reservation
I showed up to take my kids golfing and was told my reservation had been cancelled. No tee times available. Really disappointing.
This course is always full of surprises!
Upon checking in I was blown away by extreme friendliness and professionalism of every person: pro shop, cart person, starter, and the restaurant. Good job. Keep it up.
I was just returning to golfing again after laying off for a great amount of time and this return felt like a healthy dose of morale booster although my game was not where it should be, but I will be back.
The golf course is in good condition, the weather was hot, and it’s good to be out!

Went golfing with my Son and his friend, had great time, played good, and the course was in fantastic shape !!

Everything else was above my expectation except greens due to aerification and distance to drive over an hour. I hope it will be better condition of greens when I visit there next time.
Great course and venue
Played Red hawk for the first time on May 21st. The course is absolutely beautiful! If you have never played there I highly recommend that you try it out. We picked up a hot deal and it was well worth the money.. I must say it's probably one of the most beautiful courses I've ever played , however the sand traps have been neglected. It is the only qualm that I had about playing there yesterday. Most of the sand traps were hard as a rock. If they would fix that I could give it a five-star rating. But other than that I really did love the course. Thanks to all the friendly staff that helped me and my friend yesterday.
Really enjoyable round
The golf course was a great find. We decided to try a new course while visiting the area. So glad we happened upon Redhawk. It was an incredible value for an excellent experience. We happened to get paired up with a great local named Ed. He gave us great local knowledge tips and made the new course super playable and was fun to spend a round with.
Redhawk has a great layout, welcoming staff--exceeded our expectations! Only suggestion would be to allow golf carts to go closer to the club drop off area after the round, so you don't have to lug your clubs up the ramp to the parking area, since there is no staff around to assist.
