Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Beautiful course

We checked in a bit early for our round, but since no one was ahead of us, we were able to start a bit earlier. The staff is wonderful and the course is just beautiful. This is one of our favorite places to play.

We finished 1 hr ahead of pace!! Great course, scenic, good tee boxes were nice, smooth fairways, soft bunkers and true greens. Not super fast but nice pace. Well maintained, I’d come back! Well done Redhawk Team!

Best bang for your buck

I had heard from some locals that this course was subpar in comparison to some other local munis. Boy were they wrong. Course is in great condition. Tough but fair, but me and my group had a blast
