Redhawk Golf Club

Had a chance to play Redhawk on A Sunday at a 1250 tee time. Ended up starting a little later due to a couple groups in front of us that were playing slower than usual. With the course going into mating season, the rough played longer than usual and the greens were aerated that day. The only real ding that exists on the course condition side would have to be the bunkers, which were either hard packed or had rocks and stones that could potentially ding up your clubs.

Despite typical crowd control and fall to winter conditions that are common this time of year, the round was very enjoyable! It's a challenging layout for any set of teas, but especially for people playing from the golds as some tee boxes have a few overhanging branches that demand you to get creative with making your shot off the Tee Box.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The driving range is nothing over the top but does it's job in helping a golfer prepare for their round along with several putting green complexes to help golfers practice different facets of the short grass they'll encounter in the round to come. I would definitely recommend and look forward to playing again sometime when it is in ideal conditions.

First time playing this course. Greens were punched, but it still rolled pretty well. Couldn’t imagine what these greens run at when in peak condition. Layout is pretty tough with danger everywhere. Definitely want to return to play it now that I have a better understanding of the course.

The course was in excellent condition. The ruff came into play if you were not in the fairway. The greens were in great shape. The marshal made sure the play was always in pace of play. On the weekend in the early morning play, only waited at three tee boxes during the entire day.

The course has a place to enter and exit the fairways, I guess to eliminate driving excessively all over the golf fairways.

I would defiantly recommend to play this golf course. However, no person driving around the course offering refreshment.

It’s the middle of October so lots of course are doing upkeep and treatments but other then that and some slow pace of play the course was great and worth the round. Highly recommend. Great green and speed

90% of the tee boxes are all the way forward due to reseeding the tee boxes. Wait until December to play.

Please call the course before you book. The whole course was cart path only which I didn’t find out until we were on tee box. Came home very tired from double walking even though I had a cart. Walking to the ball and walking back in the afternoon heat was extremely challenging.

I understand that this is the season for course maintenance but being told when I get to the course is unacceptable, we should of been told this we we booked, in my book very poor management

Course was overseeded so it is understood that some tee boxes would be closed and cart path only travel would be required.

The course was very wet. We had balls plugging on fairways, around greens and even on a couple of greens. It was worse than when courses are first opened up after winter in the northern states. Be careful not to rot the new seed.

Without any notice, when we checked in, the tee box conditions were terrible ( all the tees were in the same place), and the cart path only. Therefore, we need to walk a lot without any preparation. We were concerned about that to the pro shop, but they did not have any response.

Most of the time, the golf course was great, but not this time.

RedHawks has been a great course forever. This time the entire course was cart path only because they’re overseeding the fairways and most of the tees were on the ladies or just on the grass in front of the ladies. TELL ME WHEN I BOOK so I can decide if I want to play there.

GolfNow did not indicate that 12 holes would be cart path only. With wide fairways, this required way more walking than I want.

The course conditions and staff were good. Unfortunately because all the tee boxes were under repair and closed it turned the course into an almost executive course. 6400 yard course became 5400. I wish I was informed of this before booking.

The course was perfect, layout greens, fairway. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Beautiful, great conditions, staff, facilities, and price. Worth the 1.5 hour drive from Irvine.
