About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Great first time at this track.
First time playing this track. Great shape, It was carpath only so it was more walking that I wanted to do. Had a great time. Will definitely come back.
Great lay out
Long course from the golds. The layout was awesome. If they rolled the greens and cut them it would be one of the favorites. But overall super fun.

First time playing here. A few friends highly recommended. It did not disappoint. Definitely coming back.
Top 3 Public course in San Diego county
The course was overall in great shape. Best tee boxes I’ve played in the area. Greens were great and fast. Bunkers are well maintained. The fairways were a little brown but the weather has not been great. Overall very fun to play. Will provide you a great challenge. Not an entry level course. 4.5/5
Slow, slow, slow
Started at 11:30 am and didn’t finish 18 holes. Not sure how that’s even possible until I realized I didn’t see the marshal patrolling once. Not sure why I paid as much as I did to play 16 holes and not the kicker was I didn’t get to play the best hole on the entire course. Do not recommend playing here.

Always Great Experience
I always look forward to playing RED Hawk. Typically in great shape. Layout is fun and challenging.
Would recommend to friends always
Disappointing
Paid $100 for green fee…. Fair ways were little to no grass, and hard packed dirt. Green were decent with mixed grass. Bunkers were the nicest part of the course. The architecture of the course is beautiful. The restaurant and pro shop is pathetic for a course that costs $100 green fee. The range turf is rock hard making it uncomfortable on the arms to practice swings. No cart girl, food is decent for the price.
We would like to sincerely apologize for the negative experience you had at our golf course. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we work to improve our fairways and range turf. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention.
Nice course...but muddy patches
Overall it's a nice layout. The highlight are the tiered greens that are challenging but rolled well. Most drives will get mud on the ball, had a few plugged lies, definitely should do "lift, clean, and place".

Frost Bitten
Had an 1150 teatime which was perfect for me because I live in Rancho Cucamonga and I wanted to have breakfast before I played. Actually teed off around 1210. With a one hour frost delay. They were able to accommodate us because we were just a twosome. They were taught to make up for the frost delay and the frustrations that golferz had. Once again the courses in great condition, the layout is amazing and the challenges it was a little muddy and a couple of areas, the rain in the frost but overall the course was great, and I just missed my birdie put on the island green.

You want a Challenge
If you want a challenge then play this course. You will have to know where the pin is located in the green due to the tiers of many greens. Course was in good shape/December
