About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Great Course
Enjoyed my round. Course layout was fun. Greens and pin placement was extremely challenging where "perfect shots" are not always rewarded. I played better than I scored, but will definitely return.

really great day after rain on 2/15. we had a super good time.
A Great Day!
First time at Redhawk. Check-in was smooth and staff was courteous. Tees and greens were in nice shape; the fairways were not overseeded during the winter so the turf is mostly dormant. Bunkers were well maintained too. Overall, I had an excellent day at Redhawk and will definitely visit again. I scored a great deal through GolfNow too.

too hot
i don't do well in hot weathr. it was 90 when we teed of at 12:30. the greens are really tough with lots of slope. lots of houses line each firway with one nut posting an odd Trump sigh.
wsill return when it's cooler.
Mixed emotions
I left my 8 iron near the putting green. I went in the pro shop at the turn AND the next day, and it was not turned in.

Course has seen better days…
Staff is friendly and course layout is great. Challenging but not overwhelming. Course is in extremely crappy condition. Fairways are grey and brown. Greens are hard. Course needs some love.

Poor course
I will never comeback to play this course again. The entire course is pretty bad, the grass are dead dry not to mention the horrible pace of play. The price isn’t worth paying for with course this bad. This course needs an overhaul and new management.
I love reading these angry reviews. I played the same day and the course in nice shape, not perfect but which course is. I play all over and to see bad reviews posted because you didn't get your way is childish.
Awesome designed course, not great condition but ok for the value if you get it on a deal
Got a hot deal on this which made it 35 during the week and I would say it was definitely worth it at that price. Really fun designed course, some of the green shapes were wild. looks like maybe it changed ownership and the new regime has definitely let it go a bit but still a fun walk around for that price and pace of play was no issue but it was a weekday. If you catch it on a deal I’d say check it out
Great Round
Always a must play course when I’m in Temecula. Was a bit windy but, calmed down early afternoon. Ken the starter was super accommodating, really helpful and definitely set a positive tone for the round. Course is in good shape, a few holes with cart part only but, all in all, in good shape.
