About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Good shape
Redhawk is in good shape better then many courses around it. Greens are good fairways are good. All around a good golf experience

Course was in good shape. Fairways are defined. Greens are still one - two weeks from perfection after aeration but absolutely playable and trending nicely.
There was a couple green side bunkers that are hardpan - no sand - still overall very enjoyable.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Only drawback (minor) refreshment cart is CASH ONLY. they will write down you CC# and bill you but really in this day and age on the ease of point of sale devices this should not be happening.

2nd time on the course. Great layout and great pace of play. Only two negatives. The greens had been punched recently, so would have liked to see some type of discount. Only other negative was the condition of the tee boxes. Played blues and had a hard time finding a level are of the tee box and the grass was grown out so I often felt like I was teeing off from the rough.
Good value
In spite of the fact that the greens had just recently been punched and the course received several hours of rain, the course was very enjoyable. The course layout is interesting requiring a thoughtful approach to each hole. My only criticism would be regarding the tee boxes, they were not well maintained.
I would definitely play the course again.
Man’s restroom near #6hole
It was so dirty and toilet was full of sxxxx.
I never seen this dirty restroom like this at any other places.
I almost throw up.
Very very poor management.
Run down course
This course used to be so much better just a couple years ago. Now the course is in rough shape. I paid $85 for a round that’s maybe worth $40. This is now on my list of do not plays.
