Island Pointe Golf Club

I cannot recommend Island Point enough! New club house is super nice and the staff was very kind. Course was in immaculate shape even with ongoing construction. Overall a 10/10 experience I cannot wait to go back to this beautiful course

Nice course once the renovation work has been completed! The course was damaged by flooding. Many cart paths are temporary and very bumpy. I think when you play it next summer it could be looking good !

The course had been highly affected by the recent horrific flooding that took so many lives.

It is remarkable that the course is actually playable.

It is a truly wonderful layout, with many very challenging and beautiful golf holes. A true masterpiece design that follows the river both on front nine and back nine.

I would highly recommend playing this course, being a skilled golfer will help you appreciate the course even more. I will definitely be back

The course appears to be doing some work and hopefully in the future it’ll pay off for them. But for what’s going on right now they should be charging less for the course. The young guy in the pro shop was standoffish when asking questions about the course. We were told the food truck was open on the turn and turns out there was no one there working it. Have played this course in the past and it’s been enjoyable, but doubt that I’ll return to play it anytime soon with lots of other options in the area.

Only negative is stupid younger new golfers with no etiquette, got drilled in jaw by group behind me....so watch your back

I'm never disappointed after playing here, even if I play bad. Fairways and greens are perfect.

Course had great bones and I played during fall leaves color change. Unfortunately I was not aware of damage from Hurricane Helene. Staff are trying to get everything back in shape but it will be a while. Greens and fairways were still in great shape but tee boxes need some work as well as traps. Some hard scape features were knocked out by Helene.

Played on vacation a few weeks after Helene- several holes along the river suffered some fairly significant flood damage but largely aesthetic and did not affect course playability much at all. Fairway/green conditions were remarkable on these holes considering they were completely under water, honestly would have never known. The rest of the course higher above the river was in fantastic condition as well. Very impressive the staff managed to have 18 holes open as they lost several cart paths/causeways and brought in many loads of rock to accommodate course navigation. Will likely take some time to return the holes along the river to the natural beauty they had before the storm, but don't let that discourage you from playing a great track.
