Island point golf club
Best conditions I've ever seen at this course .. yea!!
Isle point review
Course is awesome conditions awesome staff awesome greens awesome I don’t need to say another word oh btw cost is great for the round
Decent
First time playing here. Did some online research trying to find the better courses around Knoxville and this was near the top of a couple lists. The course itself is solid. Several tee boxes were terrible, including a par 3 which according to a sign is their “signature hole“. Absolutely terrible. Old gas carts. A tiny basket of range balls is like $7.50. Should be $4, 5 absolute max. It’s like 20 old crappy balls. Way overpriced. Range grass was thick, never saw anything like it. Overall it felt like a decent muni course. If this is the best Knoxville has, I feel for you locals.
This course is very fair for women!
I've been golfing for years and this was absolutely one of my favorite courses I've played. We did have the advantage of beautiful weather, but we also enjoyed the friendliness of all of the employees. Everything was clean. Signage was excellent. The course was well-maintained, especially the fairways and greens. I loved the books that showed what each hole looked like and distance to the 150 marker and pin. The women's tee boxes were very well placed, making each hole fair to play. The only things I wished were there were more merch for women and food and beverages more available. When we got to the turn, there was nothing for us to purchase to eat. But overall, we LOVED this course!
Beautiful course
The course is possibly in the best shape I have ever seen it in 20-25 years.
1 complaint - range balls - how do you run out by 11 am and not have someone coming in till noon?
Great seeing a cart girl running around with beverages.
Keep up the great work in keeping the course looking great.
Island Point GC 8.24.24
Course was in good condition as was the pace of play.
The greens are small, semi fast, with undulations.
The only negatives were the grill/restaurant is closed and the driving range is out of balls by noontime.
There is a sandwich truck on the 9th hole which had nice offerings.
Check in was friendly as was the starter.
I would play this course again if I’m in the area.
Beautiful course with charactar and challenge for all golfers.
Thoroughly enjoyed all facets of this course. Layout and scenery were amazing. Staff was very friendly and engaging. Course was in great shape and it’s evident the owner truly invests time and authentic effort to make this a memorable course.
NJ Visitor
I really enjoyed the course layout and beautiful condition of the greens. The on course staff members were friendly and the foods was a good quality for the price. I will definitely return. Beautiful course. Terry C
Links for breakfast
Snuck out while on vacation, played well on a challenging and curious course. Definitely not what we have around home, French Broad River was beautiful and so were the islands and fairways.
Lush Fairways
Fairway grass is the best in the area and a pleasure to golf on. Greens are really nice as well. Since we were on a golfing trip, the lack of on site amenities was not a factor in deciding to golf this course. All of the workers were very friendly and proud of their course as they should be. It’s a gem!
You got to come play.
Firstly, it must be stated that all our golf courses in East Tennessee are of the highest quality. The dedicated teams work tirelessly to upkeep these magnificent places for play. Occasionally, a course stands out, and one must tip their hat to the superintendent, owners, and staff for their exceptional work. Island Pointe is such a course. It's evident that the owner and staff have invested their hearts, souls, and finances into this course. With fairways resembling carpet and greens as smooth as silk, it's a testament to what dedication and hard work can achieve. I recommend playing there; it's truly first-class.
