Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

I love this score
It’s a great layout and the course is always an excellent shape
The Pace place slowed down a bit on the back nine for some reason. I did see Marshall’s driving around throughout the day, but that did not seem to help
The snack bar at the turn was closed. I guess because there’s only one person there who was on break and they don’t staff it then and it was unclear for how long you have to go up to the bar then if you want something in that situation.

Tough but fair, except for pin placements
Some roller coaster greens out here and a few brutal, overly punitive pin placements. Fun layout however with plenty of vineyards and lake hazards. Five hour round - just made it in before sunset

Walkability
This is not a walkable course. Excessive distance on many holes from green to next tee box. Owners clearly want to discourage walkers. Revenue is in the carts.

Slow slow slow, but nice course
Finished 16 holes in 5 hours and had to bail to make other plans. No marshals keeping pace. That said, course is nice and in decent condition.

Course was wet but no rain in a week or more. Cool mornings and fog lead to cart path only. course hadn't been cut in a while. The fairways (some) looked like 1st cut rough.
