Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Greens need work

I play this course often. This was 1st time I’ve seen the course in this tough of shape. Greens were bumpy and many scalloped from poor mowing. Hope this is just temporary

Great value

Had to drive an hour from Santa Rosa but we got a good deal on GolfNow. There’s lots of dry brown patches on the tees and fairways which is fairly typical this time of year. The greens were rolling pretty well though and most were receptive. We had a great time

Great layout.

Interesting routing Different kinds of holes. Fun holes in the vineyards Staff friendly. Good value. Course conditions are very bad. Way too wet. Slow bumpy greens.

Poor condition

I have played this course many times over the years. I do not remember poorer conditions. The tee boxes are torn to shreds. The course is overwatered. The greens were super slow. Overall very disappointing. I cannot recommend this course any longer and will play elsewhere.

Nice views

Course was is decent shape despite the greens being aerated a few weeks ago.

Beautiful Course

This course is as difficult as you make it. Several boxes to tee from make it enjoyable for all. The way it meanders through the vineyards is spectacular. The views from the elevated portions of the course are really something to take in because it’s majestic. I went out solo and by the 9th hole there was three of us. At the turn it backed up due to a foursome that came out of nowhere and it slowed us down but that’s OK with me because I don’t mind being out in natures beauty. The greens are recovering from being aerated so they were a bit slow but otherwise it is in good shape. Some tee boxes needed attention but I know they are working hard to bring this back to pristine condition. I love the course and God willing I will return to play this gem in Napa Valley.

Very nice course

Eagle Vines is a very pretty layout surrounded by vineyards and hills, no houses around the course so it really feels like a getaway. The day we played it was super hot and the course was pretty empty which was great for us. A few fairways and a few tee boxes were a little worn, but basically the course was in good shape for late summer. Greens had just been aerated, so can't comment on their condition. We like the course, so we'll be back!
