Tee times are way too close together resulting in extreme backups all over the course. No roving beverage cart and the bar/restaurant closed at 4pm which was disappointing for a Sunday

We were supposed to be playing at another course down the street that really didn’t look very nice. Found an excellent price on this place and rolled the dice. WORTH EVERY PENNY!! This course is fun, beautiful and challenging. We absolutely loved it and will definitely return!

The course was in very good condition throughout. The green ran somewhat on slow side; but the roll is true. The only complaint is that the play was very slow. The Ranger was making the rounds; but that didn’t help. Despite this, I would play the course again.

Very cool and challenging course, but I would not go back. This was the longest round of golf I’ve ever played. Waiting on the tee box for 20 minutes on some holes. And the course never sent anyone out to tell the slow group to keep pace of play. Half of my group had to leave on the 13th hole because they couldn’t take it anymore.

I enjoy playing at Eagle Vine. Good layout, beautiful views, nice challenging greens.

Want to say first off I work at a course myself.

It seems they spent all their money on the clubhouse and pro shop, and ran out when it came to the course.

Pace of play was possibly the worst I’ve experienced in a while. 10 holes took my group 3 hours and 30 minutes. We tried to get ahead of the group in front of us, and the next hole, there was 4 groups on one hole. They space the tee times about 5 minutes apart.

For their conditions, I recommend a complete renovation for their irrigation. Multiple shots, I was standing in mud, even in the fairway! Blotches of grass where it’s completely unkept, rough about 5 inches tall. Tee boxes haven’t been seeded in likely 2 months, as they were barely tee boxes, more like a patch of unkept grass.

I tried to go in the pro shop afterwards and inform the person in there about what was going on, and was met with someone who just didn’t care. Really, really disappointing.

Challenging long holes, lots of water and blind ravines. Helpful to know course or play with someone who does. Greens and fairways in good condition. Most sand traps have real sand. Would play again.

We played on the 26th and 27th of July and the pace of play was horrible. Even the group behind us said they called the clubhouse several times to send out a marshal and it never happened. Both days were over 5 hours and this should never happen. The course is a fun and challenging course but they need to do something about the pace of play.

The golf carts are old and not good for example ours dyed out on the 14th hole and had to call for another to be brought out and I feel we should have been compensated for the inconvenience and also never seen a ranger out there about the slow play. We started at 12:10 and had to stop after hole 14 at 4:30 because we had dinner reservations to go to and missed playing the last 4 holes which looked really nice as we were driving back to the clubhouse so very disappointed overall. For the money they charge for the course it should be a lot better. And it’s not just this course but overall green fee pricing is outrageous for all courses now a days.

Had at least 4 groups ahead of us dragging their feet the whole time. The pair I got grouped with left early because of the pace. Ended up being almost a 5hr round on a TUESDAY! The group in front of me ended up letting me play through but with only 4 holes to play. Terrible experience. I'll never drive the 1.5hrs from Sac area again unless someone else is paying for it. They could use new carts and a better driving range as well. Waste of a day.
