About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Endless views
Come for the views and stay for the golf. I really enjoyed the course layout. Lots of open fairways with wide landing zones. Tough dog legs and really challenging carry yardage on the par 3's.
Needs some TLC on the tee boxes and a lot of repair needed from tee to green. Bunkers are in good shape but I have a feeling the grounds crew is under staffed.

Would recommend
Had been wanting to play for quite a long time finally had the chance. Very good course challenging but fair. Got paired up with another couple that took way to long lining up at address. Turned pace of play into nightmare for us and those behind us. 4 1/2 hour round turns to 6 hours. Other than that it was great.

Too slow!
Course beautiful and in good conditions. But play was so slow - almost 5 hours to complete 15 holes and had to leave for dinner reservation. Need Marshalls on course to move people or space bookings better.

Most Frustrating Round of Golf (almost)
I can't remember ever having a worse experience on a golf course...and it had nothing to do with the course itself. However, the absence of any marshalls on the course, especially when they pack it with players is a travesty. Play was so slow due to the groups ahead of us who would take extra shots if they didn't like their first one, spent time in the brush looking for lost balls, etc. Play was so slow that my group left after hole 13....it took five hours to get through those 13 holes. As much as I like the course, I will rethink recommending it unless I put qualifiers on my recommendation.. I rated the course low on value because if you can't finish a round in five hours, there is something terribly wrong.

With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve. Early round before work
Course is in great shape ! We where the second group of this morning, pace of play was great . They need a little work on some of the tee boxes. With that aside everything else about the course was great !
