About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Played course end of aeration period 7:21am tee time
Always loved this course at Eagle Vines. Morning pace of play good 4 hr 20min round. Fairway and secondary cut in great shape. Bunkers were playable and rakeable. Greens were still a little bumpy but looked great will fill in nicely. The Bad was the Tee boxes in poor shape and missing or just patches of grass and sand. The worst tee boxes I.ve seen all year. (White tees). Had discounted rates because of aeration so it was great deal so overlooked tee box issues. Would find it harder to pay full price till tee boxes were addressed.

The course has a good lay out.everything is good except the golf cart, cart break is not working properly

Better than most
Eagle Vines has evolved over the years and these days tends towards one of the courses in better condition.
Today’s round saw pretty good conditions but some of the fairways (the older ones) are firm and fast... even some hardpan
the bunkers have nice sand and greens had been punched and sanded so they were slow and unpredictable

Aeration is a Bummer
Course in great shape except for the green aeration. Too bad ! But, definitely worth playing amongst the vineyards.

Normally fine. Sooooo slow
They did a very bad job today. Friday morning. Course backed up as far as you can see. Expect better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day! Greens were in excellent shape and pace of play was good.
My only request would be that there be some fruit options offered in the snack bar and restaurant. Apples, bananas, fresh fruit cups?

Course in Grand Shape
Condition of course was great. The strong winds and temperature drop on the back 9 was brutal. Still not spring conditions. Pin placements were pretty difficult with some perched on the top of small mounds with little room for error. Challenging for me even from the white tees. But had loads of fun. Will come back...

Great course
Challenging and firm. A lot different than when I played it a month TJ ago, when it was soupy and muddy. It was firm and fast, and in great shape for winter. Get it now before aeration!
