About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Eagle Vines - Aeriated Greens
Course in good shape normally, however the greens were recently aeriated and in very poor condition. Eagle Vines charged us full price, for these poor course conditions., Would have been nice if they would have mentioned these poor conditions (aeriated greens) when we booked and also provide some sort of discount to play in these conditions.

Still beautiful but painfully slow today. The carts were dying, apparently a power failure last night. Comical but did not help the pace of play today.
Greens are in good conditions but the fairways are very dry. Need a little TLC.

Amazing Course
I’m here on vacation with my wife to visit her friend. Friends husband told me to go here and I was not disappointed. The scenery was just amazing and the course was in top shape for coming out of overseed 3 weeks prior. It’s a shame the fire ruined some of the vineyards or I’m sure it would’ve been breathtaking. I was very happy with the greens even as soft as they were, they rolled true and somewhat fast. Fairways were outstanding and rough was manageable. I would highly suggest trekking out to play this course.

Great Course - first time playing
Loved the layout of this course, every hole has something to it, except maybe #4. There was some challenging element on every hole even though we played from the white tees. Decent amount of forced carries, and water hazards are in play throughout the course. Not my first choice for forgiveness and learning, but for a regular golfer this course offered something refreshing.
Be ready to hit every club in your bag, and I wouldn't recommend walking it.

Pace of play was atrocious, tee'd off at 1 and only 16 holes in. Marshall was sent home early - lame.

Eagle Vines, step your game up
This has always been such a great course and wonderful experience, but man has the condition of this course deteriorated. So sad to see a track that used to be so beautiful and in pristine condition fall to this level. To be fair, this seemed to be factored into the price per round -- $33 on a Tuesday afternoon -- but to those that manage the course, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.
plugged greens
The greens were plugged this week. So it would be in great shape in a few weeks.. Pace of play was not too bad for a Sunday. Not too difficult to walk. The distance between 2 and 3 and then 14 and 15 are a little challenging to walk but doable. great course when everything is normal.
