St. Johns Golf Club

For the money, it's a good deal, but for the weather they have, I don't understand why the greens can't be better. They don't even care to mow them low for speed. And it seems they have never heard of a roller.

One of the finest courses in the Jacksonville area. Well maintained and the greens are second to none. They run true and fast and a joy to put on. Bring your A game and have some fun.

There are two Saint John courses in the area!! Becareful not to waste gas driving around looking for the right one. Other than that, it was a great time.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Tees and fairways are in good shape. The greens need about two more weeks before they can be mowed low. Right now the greens are a little bumpy and rolling no more than an 8.

We played 9 holes for $17 each. Pretty good deal considering tee time was at 8:20AM.

Course was in good shape despite all the recent rain. Having hole 15 open and redone is great, a good risk/reward hole. Always enjoy playing out there

I think it was the North/East Course since there are only 18 holes available. Nice friendly course layout. I hadn't played for about 2 years and was surprised at the conditions. The fairways were burnt in several areas and the greens were in very poor condition. I suggest not playing there until it's fixed up.

This is the first time I have played the course since they made it 18 holes instead of 27. The layout of the course is interesting, with some very pretty holes and a few that were little more than cow pasture golf. The greens have a lot of undulations and could be excellent, except they were way too slow and the grass on the greens was very uneven. It was often like putting on broccoli. Still, the course layout, the pace of play, the really pretty holes made it a very enjoyable time.

I use to play this course when I had lived down in st augustine it was in good shape with 36 holes. Now, it's in real bad shape. 18 holes are now closed and overgrown. The 18 that is open is maybe a 3/10. Greens were long and patchy and the fairways were spotty.

Nice, open fairways. Enough water to keep you honest. Greens could have been in a little better condition but the overall play was great. I would recommend it to anyone coming to St. Augustine and will play it again very soon.

First 9 holes reasonably fast second 9 holes had more grass on.

Course was overall, okay. The greens need work. Bought two pair of shoes at a good price. Tee boxes were okay but need to be moved around more often.

I love the diversity of the golf course. They a give you long par 3 but a drivable par 4 and reachable par 5's. The course isn't overly long but is challenging and fun.

Extremely slow play. Took almost 5hrs but it was a Saturday and weather was awesome so it didn't seem so bad. In August it would be brutal. Decent course for price but only worth it at the discount price.

the course was in great shape. all holes were fun to play and made you think what kind of shot to hit. I will play this course again.

From the Pro Shop to Ranger to 19th Hole, the wait staff was professional and pleasant.

Beautiful setting with bald eagles, gators and herons galore. Greens are in transition and are fast.
