Mountain View at Desert Willow Golf Resort

Rode the Purple tees (6507/71.2/128) in 4H, 20 twilight using Forelinx. Paired with Laura, Susan and Emmie, fun group to play with. The weather was clear, fairly calm and around 75.

Playing conditions were excellent bording on immaculate across the board.

The tees were very nice. Lush and level with few divots.

The fairways are lush, firm and really nice to play from.

The rough is lush and mowed down. Good POP rough, not overly penal. Really nice to chip from.

The waste bunkers were firm and not as well maintained as the greenside traps. The greenside traps had good quality sand and were nicely maintained.

The greens putted medium fast and were smooth and firm.

This course would be challenging to walk as numerous tees are a long way from the last green. Customer Service always excellent here from when you drop your clubs off out front to when you pick them up out front. Drink cart out making the rounds several times. Good GPS on carts. Plenty of ice/water stations on the course. The all grass driving range is included and above average. Nice practice chipping area. Highly recommended, very under rated course in the Palm Springs area.

Fantastic greens, friendly staff and very accommodating.

Course was well maintained, layout was challenging but fun. Greens were fast and lots of break, seemed like all pin locations were difficult. regardless, course was in great shape and was an enjoyable round. Fairways were fair and flat for the most part. Second cut was difficult to hit out of. Clubhouse and practice facility was superb.

For midweek, the course was very busy. We met many locals at the range and they all said tee times are usually booked solid. We had to wait for majority of the holes. playing 2 rounds that day we had to get food to go between rounds.

Worth the visit, would play again.

First time here, great experience playing as a single with 3 great guys. Outstanding condition, fast rolling greens. Exercise caution on the greens or you’ll be way past all day, chips and putts roll out more than expected. Will definitely return.

Always love playing this course. Brought some friends for their first time and they loved it also.

From start to finish the overall golf experience was acceptional, except for after the rould ee found out the whole club house was cloased for a private event. So missed out soaking in vista view of the course from there outdoor patio and the reason for only a 4 star recommendation for the facility.

Drizzly-foggy day making views of the course limited. Easy to see that great care was made for making a wonderful visual experience though.

Staff at the club house was very attentive and always ready to answer any questions or point you in the right direction. Grounds keepers were always courteous turning off any power equipment if a player was within earshot.

Nice variety of fairways from wide open to sand trap laiden.

Course is in great shape. Greens are slower and undulating more than expected. Surprised at double breaking putts.

Friendly staff greets you at the Bag Drop, Pro Shop friendly Starter friendly. Nice driving range.

Staff actually out on course...Ice and water stations , restrooms, are convenient ...cart ladies... I look forward to playing again!

Always great play, great staff and great food! All under the eye of City if Palm Desert. Course super must be commended. This is a gem.

Love playing both Desert Willow courses as they are first rate, always well maintained and beautiful views - don’t miss it.

They stacked up the players to close together, 95 degree day took 4.5 hours had to play 18 in the dark.

The club house was closed when could not even get a beer

Most of the holes are completely hidden from the rest of the course so you are just seeing the wonderful layout in front of you.

Rode the Purple tees (6507/71.2/128) in 4H, 30M twilight using Forelinx. Matched up with Umberto, Kitty and Ryan, nice group to play with. The weather was sunny, breezy and around 80.

The Bermuda tees were lush and nice to play from. Level with few divots.

The Bermuda fairways are mostly lush and firm.

Same for the Bermuda rough, which is mowed low.

The sand traps were nicely maintained with thick sand.

The Bermuda greens putted medium fast speed and were firm. However, too many ball marks!

Excellent customer service on every visit here. Nice GPS on carts. Drink cart out making numerous rounds this afternoon. Normally a nice all grass driving range with a good chipping area & practice green, but currently closed for over seeding. Course is in really solid shape for just before over seeding. Recommended.

Awesome day from the greeting st the bag drop to the starter and the cart guys at the end of the round. The course layout was outstanding and in excellent condition
