Napa Golf Course at Kennedy Park

First time playing this course. It was a super windy day, basically 20-30 mph all day which always makes it challenging.

Greens were in excellent shape and running fast. The course has a really cool layout with a lot of different type holes. The course is definitely fair, but gets tight at times, especially off a few tee boxes.

When we checked into the clubhouse, the person in the pro shop mentioned to us that 14 of the 18 holes have water, so you need to play somewhat target golf. Really fun though, will be back!

Booked a "Hot-Deal" on GolfNow and the only option was to walk. When we got to the course we asked to rent the cart and were charged $18/person instead of the normal price of $12/person. The cashier told us this was because we bought the green fees from a third party vendor. Buch of BS if you ask me. There was no option to buy green fees with cart on GolfNow.

Course is in terrible shape. Areas of fairways are just dirt. Other areas are a swamp. Greens are good. Tee boxes sad. I don’t understand how an affluent community like Napa can allow their public course to become such a “dog track”. Even st a $25 hit deal, it wasn’t worth the price of admission. Charge $50 of more snd fix a few things.

Course is in terrible shape. I live 15 minutes away and won't be returning. Between COVID and the drought they really let this course go. Too many good options to justify $55 on a round out here. Pace of play was slow, course is beat up, tee boxes a mess, bunkers pretty bad, and overall not impressed. Too many good options to waste 5 hours out there.

I was expecting a good course because it is so close to nice courses. The course was not well maintained, unknown due to the drought in California or simply not maintained. I did not see a Marshal assisting in players pick up their pace of play. Unless you’re a local player, I wouldn’t recommend the course. It is poorly maintained to drive fighting the CA-12 traffic.

Nice course. Fair layout. Fast greens. The cart paths need attention.

I’ve liked the course since I first played in in the 80’s. The greens were in good shape but the rest was a little rough shape. The price I got was good. Played on a holiday and it seemed like several groups left the course early (couples/families). I finished my round in 4:20 starting after noon so no worries with timing of the round. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Play here quite regularly. I would argue that for a lot of golfers this course is challenging do to the wind and elevated greens. Greens here are some of the best kept by the way. Great price and good and bad (no more covid golfers) good cause place of play was under 4 hours bad just cause this course is a great muni tract that should be played by all. Come on through you won't be disappointed. Fyi fantastic course to walk and not ride.
