Soggy fairways
I have played the Kennedy GC 20 times in the past 15 years. I can’t remember the fairways being so soggy. 5-6 fairways were the main problem with standing water. The value you pay for is not there. Compared to Eagle Vines, which is the same cost. My son and I play it together for nostalgia reasons.
Beautiful sunny day
We noticed for a Sunday mourning with a beautiful day at 70 degrees. There was hardly anyone out there. There was lots of standing water in about 6 fairways . We used winter rules to stay out of the muddy areas . Some shots came out a little fat, which can be frustrating.
Swamped
I was surprised at how much of this course was underwater as it had not rained in at least a week prior to our round. Understandable as there is a years long drought in the area however some remediation would probably make this a much better course during the winter months.
Treacherous Conditions
Like playing in a swamp. Course has a poor drain system. Lots of standing water throughout the course. I would avoid playing this course from November thru April.
A muddy mess
Such poor drainage. I will never go back in the fall or winter
Fall review
Course is nice in terms of layout. Challenging but fair. However the rain really got to it so it was saturated and there was a lot of standing water. If weather is good this is a nice course.
Course Flooded After Rain Storm
10 out of 18 holes were affected by the rain and the fairways were like mud ponds. The lakes were spilling over to the fairways. Bad experience overall.
Course needs major maintenance
This is about the 5th or 6th time playing here, and the course was a disaster. It was my brothers 1st time playing here and he said it would be his last. There was lots of standing water and mud, it smelt really bad, and we needed an all terrain vehicle for the “cart paths”. The rough was more like a rainforest. The par 4 9th hole was turned into a laughable par 3 without any sign letting us know about the change. And to top it off, the price was the same.
Fun layout, fun day
First time playing this course. It was a super windy day, basically 20-30 mph all day which always makes it challenging.
Greens were in excellent shape and running fast. The course has a really cool layout with a lot of different type holes. The course is definitely fair, but gets tight at times, especially off a few tee boxes.
When we checked into the clubhouse, the person in the pro shop mentioned to us that 14 of the 18 holes have water, so you need to play somewhat target golf. Really fun though, will be back!
Golf Cart Rip-Off for GolfNow Green Fee Purchase
Booked a "Hot-Deal" on GolfNow and the only option was to walk. When we got to the course we asked to rent the cart and were charged $18/person instead of the normal price of $12/person. The cashier told us this was because we bought the green fees from a third party vendor. Buch of BS if you ask me. There was no option to buy green fees with cart on GolfNow.
