Fast greens were great, but fairways were a little rough with too many brown spots. Overall 3/5 with extra credit for being a good value for the price.
Not worth the money
The course was in very poor condition. Fairways were in very bad shape. Some had large swaths of dried mud. Sand traps were overgrown with weeds. Some tee boxes were abominations. Not going back any time soon.
Great layout
It was a little dry with some dirt patches but I'm telling you Napa Golf Course was a fun and challenging course
Feeling unwelcome
Got there early and waited 1 1/2 hours to get out then 3 later tee time went out before us and the feel was our kind was not wanted. Mask or not. Will never play there again or suggest anyone play there ever!
The course was fine. Nothing special about it but pace of play was ridiculously slow. My partner and I skipped two holes (14-15) and played in 4:45. Those two holes would have taken at least 45 minutes. No marshal
Overwatered
The course was so wet the carts got stuck a few times in the fairways. The layout is moderately challenging.
Eh
First time playing this course in 12 years. Value for afternoon is really good. You would never find me playing in the morning here. Course layout is great. Makes you think on a lot of shots bc of water or wind. The course itself to me is in rough shape or at least not one of the best. The grass needs some tlc, pretty sure I was dead center of the fairway and it was like being in the rough. I don’t like knocking any courses but It could be better. Eventually I’ll be back.
Nice course. Too much $$$
Too much for what you get. It’s more of a budget course. Other than that it was in good shape. The young girl at the pro shop was very polite and nice. She got me started earlier than my tee time to join with a twosome. It was a Sunday but still a little pricey for this course. But yes, friendly staff!
Fun Morning at Napa Golf Course
Nice public golf course. Good mix of long and short holes. Course is in decent shape (especially given the large volume of play). Bunkers have sand and were raked/groomed -- a plus!).. Friendly/helpful staff and a Saturday morning round in 4 hours -- all good.
