Poor conditions
Overall the course is in very poor condition. The fairways are beat up the rough is very thick and the course is wet everywhere. Consistent play is impossible. Even the cart paths were in varying states of disrepair. No need to ever play here again
It's a fun course
Its a deceiving course. ...harder then it looks with deceiving fairways and afternoon wind ....challenging course and will definitely be going back again for another round......straight drives and soft lines!
This course took the time to prepare for COVID right.
I have played at much more expensive courses such as Hiddenbrooke,
Where there were no flags and no holes to putt into. Just a piece of
Pool noodle tied to a upside down cone, barely three feet tall. Here at Napa the cost is less and they spent money to purchase the lever system that allows the ball to drop into the hole with the flag in and simply raise the lever by using the putter to retrieve the ball out the hole. More places should follow their lead. Their efforts makes the golfing experience real and not like some putt-putt, bang it off a noodle cone situation. That’s not representative of golf.
Challenging course
Very deceiving fairways.....also well cut. Overall I thought was a fun corse....going back next week !
A day at Kennedy
It was a great day at the course great weather and the greens were in pretty good shape no flags but you could see the holes most of the time
Still about the same.
Played here yesterday for the first time in about 15+ years. Condition is about the same. Not bad, but could make the needed maintenance and improvements. They had 6+ weeks with the Shelter in Place in effect.
I remember playing late fall through early spring years ago. I recall standing water and pools of water in the fairways, and would you know it. Saw that again. LOL.
Greend were plugged and sanded, but they were aboy 3/4 of the way growing back. Could have been done a month or more ago.
But overall conditions where good. But the same.
First time playing after shoulder surgery.
Had a great time playing after three months. My son and I had a great time.
carts/group
Had to wait past my tee time because they had carts, but no key's. So I had to wait for people to get done so I could use their cart.
The group they put me with had more beer in the cart than they had golf balls. After the 14th hole when my driver hit a ball washer because he was drunk I took my bag off the cart left.
I will be writing a letter to Course Co. the company who runs the golf course.
A Good Test
Because of a dry February the greens are firm and fast. A lot of good shots with short irons and wedges bounced and rolled off the back. Downhill putts are very quick.
The course is in great shape for the time of year, good value!
Good couse tough
Real tough course but if you play well you earned it course is in good shape greens roll real nice tough but fair no tricks to surprise you
Wonderful value
The course was in good shape. Only downside was that the pro shop let everyone go out as singles. Made for a slow round. Let’s just all play together.
Windy day
Even though the wind was strong today it was a perfect day on the course. It is amazing how well the course is right now and all the work being put into making it better
I am glad to see several of the fairways being redone making it easier to play
I be back very soon
I suggest going somewhere else
The course was so crowded that I left after 11 holes.
