Get some
If you are looking to have a good time and enjoy the game of golf then get in and stroke away
Greens good course had some water damage duel to heavy rain
Refreshment counter staff
Customer service at refreshments counter is horrible, this woman has know personality! Her rude disposition reflects on all the staff at Kennedy Golf Course, the management staff needs to provide her with a course in customer relations.....
Paying customer.....
Disappointing
While the concept for this course is pretty good with some creative hole layouts in a around natural terrain, the conditions in many parts of the course are simply unplayable. I do realize that the extremely wet winter has taken it's toll however, huge areas of baron ground in the middle of the fairways seem to indicate years of neglect. Greens were in pretty fair shape, though.
Napa golf course
We were able to play within a window of no rain, from 12:30 to 4:00pm. with no one in front of us we finished in 3.5 hours. 90 degree rule was the only restriction and all eighteen holes were playable. we live in Napa so this is our home course.
NOR READY FOR PRIME TIME GOLF
THE COURSE, OF COURSE, IS IN SAD SHAPE AFTER A BRUTALLY WET WINTER. THE GREENS ARE PRETTY GOOD ASIDE FROM SOME BROWN SPOTS HERE AND THERE. THE FAIRWAYS ARE FULL OF PUDDLES, SMALL PONDS AND LONG STRETCHES OF HIDDEN MARSH AREAS. ONE CAN BE WALKING ALONG AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN BE ANKLE DEEP IN A BOG. THE FIRST CUT OF ROUGH IS VERY HIGH AND ANY BALL THAT WANDERS OFF THE FAIRWAY (OR SOMETIMES ON IT) WILL DISAPPEAR. HALF OF THE SAND TRAPS ARE UNPLAYABLE. THEY HAVEN'T BEEN TENDED TO IN A LONG TIME. SOME ARE OK. FREE DROP !!. SO, ALL IN ALL, CHECK BACK IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS. IT MIGHT BE READY BY THEN.
too much rain this winter
This course is an excellent and very challenging course, it's condition has been greatly, hampered by all the rain we've had this winter.
Give it a little time to recover.
since it has been raining a lot we expected wet conditions, however, it was better than expected as long as you stear clear of the super wet spots, in 10 days it will be fantastic..
It'll do, pig. It'll do.
It is an 18 hole golf course, with the pro shop and a bar and Grill. I enjoy playing there when I can't play elsewhere. The pace of play can be atrocious. You may only get in nine holes.
Great park course
Don't get out to park courses very often, so this was a nice change of pace. Teed off just before sunrise, and the course was in great shape. Not very wet, even for the early morning hours, which in Napa, is hard to believe with it being so humid overnight. Greens were soft though, found myself having to repair ball marks more frequently than usual, both mine and ones left overnight. Scenery was nice and the overall atmosphere was one of the more quiet courses I can remember playing in recent memory. Would recommend and will return in the winter when all the surrounding elements have returned to their green nature! Staff was super friendly to boot; definitely made you feel like your business was welcome.
Course uses the natural features to best advantage
With water along side a good portion of the holes you have to pay attention to where you land you ball to score well.
Windy in the afternoon!
There's a pretty decent mix of long-drive type and position type holes. It was my first time, so I'd have a better idea how to play some of the holes next time.
The pro shop staff was as friendly and accomodating as you're likely to find at any public course.
The driving range does suck though, if you like to hit balls. Can't really think of a worse combination of worn mats and beaten up balls anywhere I've played.
Beautiful playing golf..
Just walking on the sidewalk going toward pro shop. I noticed for beautiful the surroundings are.. Many trees and beautiful landscapes! I was paired with other golfers .. I had a wonderful time on the golf course!
bad course
this course is garbage. course says it has water to play and lterally all the water isn't even really " inn play". also, the greenskepper should be fired because the course is NOT MAINTAINED.
Cheap for a reason
Course is in horrible shape. Grass has not been cut, weeds out of control, tons of mud pits as the drainage system is non-existent. Got a $19/player hot deal to ride and still not worth it.
