Friendly staff, challenging course, very wet conditions, I would love to go back and play this course on a warm day when the course is dry.
great deal, great course
I really enjoyed the day at Napa Golf Course. I considered going to some of the other more well regarded courses in the area and I am glad I didn't. The course was in great shape for this time of year and the greens were magnificent. I have played the course many times over the years and it is in the best condition that I can remember.
Great improvements, one of my favorite places to play
The improvements were great and the course was in good shape.

the Course is in better shape since last time I played,so I guess the weddings on premises are generating revenue to improve course..Friendly staff...great par 4's on this course.
Golf at Kennedy Park
We had a fun day. The course was in nice shape
and the pace of play was perfect, no waiting and no one pushing from behind.

Greens r slow but excellent course
Beautiful views it's pretty fascinating the front nine is kind of protected by the trees in the back nine is Windy so you get to play and all kinds of conditions on One day with an 18 holes
great water
fair, due to drought conditions it's in average shape
The course is steadily improving.
Greens were slow due to being punched and sanded a few days ago. The encouraging part is they are beginning to remove the dead trees from the golf course and are reseeding the brown patches in the fairway.
pace of Play
It took more than 3 hours just to play 9 hioles. This led me to just quit after the 10th hole. Where was the marshall?
Goat pasture
Got an e mail saying coarse is the best in ten years. this place was a goat pasture that's allI I have to say
Keeps getting better!!
This was the forth time I played Napa golf course and it is top shelf. The staff is excellent. The ground crew is doing a great job keeping the course up! And we got paired up with Kenny who was fun to play with,we have the same philosophy on golf. Play for the love of the game and making friends!!
Heavy Traffic
This course is very good for a municipal course. It has long holes but much flatter than California hilly courses.The facilities are good. The driving range has turf instead of mats which is another plus.
Unfortunately Napa has heavy highway traffic both directions making the trip difficult the two times that I have played here.
I suspect because it is a municipal course, there are no Marshalls to help with the extremely slow pace of play.
So reluctantly I would never recommend the course to my friends unless these conditions were mitigated.
Needs work
It could be great with some money invested but s good lay out plsn very soft greend
Rushed
Rushed by marshal even though group behind never caught us. Not sure why?
Funky
Since the course is near SF Bay, thermal winds are persistent, like 20-25 knots. Since the course is at sea level, poor drainage so a lot of standing water. No marshall seen all day long, and lot of waiting for the foursomes in front of us, who were dressed in tee shirts and plumber shorts. Parts of the course are in very poor condition - broken up cart path cement, refuse piles, etc. It's cheap but there's a reason.
Where affordable memories are made
Beautiful course. Produces several challenging water obstacels and sand traps. One of the best courses I've ever played.

Course is open, and very fun to play. Some areas are under repair, but still a nice course.
Average
Rated average due to primarily the pace of play. For a course that was not full, there were several slow groups ahead of us. A twosome in front of us waited a great deal for the group in front of them, which held up not only us, but the group behind us. I cant understand why that course would take up to 5 hours to play. It is not lengthy...Maybe it was the 5 some(s) ahead a couple of groups ahead.
