Napa Golf Course at Kennedy Park

I got a good weekend deal. Start was slow due to frost delay, put they got me out earlier then expected.

a few bare patches near the greens makes for some difficult up and downs; otherwise i like to play this course occassionally to feel the bite of it's BOOT! Accuracy driving and approach is critical here... if you are short of these greens, there are plenty of camel hump greens to try to pitch and hold!

Oh, and PLEASE put more than 1/4" of sand in those greenside bunkers.

I read other reviews that said this course was really tough? It wasn't ... Played in December so it wasn't in pristine shape but it was still pretty green .. Parts of the course get hit with more wind so the greens were kinda dried out but overall it was worth playing

Napa Kennedy is a challenging course that will test your shot making skills. Over the last few years the course has lost much of its luster - as a lot of grassy areas have dried up into wasteland, and most bunkers need repair. I look forward to this course being kept up better under new management.

This course has a nice layout and feel with challenging holes and then some straight forward holes as well. There are definite end of summer fairway burns and the sand traps are rock hard but the greens roll true and the tee boxes are well kept.

I like this course enough and it's local so I will continue to play it regularly.

Conditions are much better than in 2011, especially on the greens and number nine fairway.

Nice layout Maybe the best muni I've ever played. We played at a nice pace and found a variety of holes. Greens were a tad slow but okay. Back in Napa again, I would play this course again.

Play foursome on Sunday through Golf now hot deal. It costs least than hundred. Though it was little soggy after the last night heavy rain. The fairways still in good condition. Nice opening all around. Will go back.

This was a fun course to play. Not as difficult as my home course so I could relax and kick back. Well maintained. Not too many bare spots for this time of year. All in all a pleasant experience.
And considering the golfnow price an exceptional deal.

The course is a cow pasture. It is awful. Bare spots everywhere, even right next to the greens. Many of the greens had damaged spots. Very little grass on the fairways, bare spots and weeds.
I used to really like this course for its simple, yet difficult layout. Played it 8 months ago and it was in bad shape. Now it is ridiculously bad.

As always, some greens get dried out more than others due to the exposure to the wind. Since most greens are turtle shelled there are some very tough holes to keep it on the green. I always like the challenge this course offers, especially when the wind picks up. I think it is a great deal for what you get. Sure the course isn't pristine but good enough for a fun round.

Napa Muni is a good course to play on week days. Pace was very good.

A typical city owned course, they do just enough to keep it playable but it could use some work. some tee boxes were in sad shape and weeds growing in the "sand" traps. It is a fun little course when you want a day of "no brainer" golf.

The foursome in front of us played very slowly, and made no effort to speed up play, even with open holes in front of them. There was no Marshall to speed play up.

This course is not a stroll in the park. You better have your game on or you're in trouble at every turn. The greens leave a bit to be desired; better maintenance required. This is definitely not for beginners unless they bring lots of balls, which they WILL lose. I would have given 5 stars if not for the funky greens and a few hard pan spots on some of the fairways.

Could be a great course if they could maintain it.

good course, well maintained...had a few greens that were in burnt condition but still fair ...one thing, they allowed a fivesome to go off in front of us...two walkers and three riders..

Changeling course that needs a little TLC. I would recommend this course to any one.

This was the second time I've played here. The greens were a little slower than the last time but they were plenty challenging. This a neat little track! Is coming real close to making my favorites list.

Generally the course conditions were good. There were some wet spots in the fairways, but perhaps it's needed to keep the fairways lush as there is plenty of grass on the fairways and rough. The greens were very good on the front 9, smooth and fast, but the back nine was a little slower and slightly bumpy. Hard to adjust to the speed. But overall, the course is challenging, in good shape and recommended.
