The Crooked Cat Course is one of two 18-hole regulation courses at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility is also home to a nine-hole executive course. The Crooked Cat Course is a challenge with dramatic elevation changes and rolling fairways that are framed with mounding. The golf course has a links-style design with large, contoured greens and wide landing areas. Water hazards and several bunkers come into play throughout. There are also trees and native heather present on the course for a naturally beautiful atmosphere. Orange County National's Crooked Cat Course is favored among low handicappers due to its length and difficulty.

Challenging course in windy conditions.due to sand traps in front of most greens requiring accurate distance on shots. - not easy in swirling 20 mph winds!

Greens were excellent and pin positions allowed for flat putts.

Fairways were a bit thin but likely due to Bermuda not yet growing.

Wildlife was friendly and not afraid of people at all.

Had family visiting from out of town so OCN was a must play. Crooked Cat presented a great test and a truly enjoyable experience. Greens were in great condition and fairways were as you would expect at a top tier golf course.

The only negative was our post round lunch. Our server was slow arriving at the table and then forgot drink orders and refill requests. Food was good so may have just been an overwhelmed server.

The course is amazing but…

The course was in great condition, but the pace of play was atrocious. It took almost three and a half hours to play the front 9. After spending the money I did on the tee time , I would expect them to keep a better eye on it. Overall I had a good time and the layout of the course was nice. But keep an eye on when your getting your tee time.
